A caveat - received a slightly different design from the main display picture, so tad disappointed but subjectivity aside and to give a layman's view: On the first day it gives the appearance of a well-engineered product with no major flaws at sight to be concerned about, except that i was rooting for the surface area of the mortar to be wider because of its wide-mouth design. But then im also not really an expert, and i surmise its probably down to science and the peculiar design of a mortar-pestle of a specific size. Going by the display picture, i had in fact found this brand's design closer to expectations than all other brands in terms of its wide-mouth, optimum size appeal etc. In terms of quality, it is reflecting professional-level workmanship and complete use of natural stone, as it has got a coarse texture and tiny embedded crystals that are shining. Also to be noted, its a considerably heavy product leaving no doubt about its weight in this case. These strong factors present in the product are lessening any chances of compromise in manufacturing, especially in terms of the supposed smaller surface area. It does have the appearance of a sound and robust product, and although the design i have received is not what i had originally chosen and was excited about based on the display picture, its not too bad or different. There could be chances that it might be better than the one shown in the main display picture, given that pictures are also not always accurate and products are also improved upon over time. Giving due regard to these factors and considering its size and price, keeping the product delivered and hoping it eventually serves its purpose well.

Nice product... Quite heavy... Size is very good... see photos with bank card to understand the size... Easy to crush and grind due to rough surface... Easy to wash and dry very quickly... Delivered in proper packaging...
