Sugar Gliders (Complete Pet Owner’s Manuals) Paperback – July 1, 2016

Comprehensive and easy to read - I loved it and gave me a lot of info as a novice that I am. One point for future reference: in many parts of the book they have imperial and metric conversions BUT not all which makes it hard to translate in one another. Apart from that - loved the book.

The book was very helpful. A quick easy guide to help one understand gliders better. Great for anyone considering getting a glider or are new to sugar glider Parenthood.

I found this book very helpful and informative. My daughter had gotten a sugar glider but wasnt completely informed of all that they need to be taken care of. This book helped alot.

My first time owning a sugar glider and this book help extremely. Very informative and my daughter loves the pictures.

This is a nice basic book I can share with my granddaughters as we embark on our own sugar glider journey. BUT-I must amend something right away-they can definitely be stinky if you have a male and a female-especially if there is breeding activity! And if we didn’t have the luxury of 2 closed doors and some space between our rooms-they’d wake us up frequently through the night with their playing and barking. I have a male and a female, and his need to mark his territory has been a daily battle for me to keep the odor under sufficient control, and everyone’s experiences are different-but I now know from people I’ve met who breed that this is very common. Gliders personalities also differ just as much as cats and dogs do too, and most books fail to tell you that your glider experience may be as different as night and day to what you read. It’s a pretty book, and it’s nice to have at least one reference book to put my hands on!

I have raised Sugar Glider for many years and I believe this isthe very best book I have ever run across!! It contains Everythingyou need to know about Gliders in a way that is informative and easyto understand. It is Great for new and long time Glider owners!! Ialso recommend this book to my customers when they purchase a gliderfrom me. They have all been thankful for this book!! A WONDERFUL Manual!!

I just bought and read this book, cover to cover, and it is good, but not great. The author loves sugar gliders and shares some useful information. However, people (like me) who are considering buying sugar gliders need to know what the real expert has to say. Dr. David M. Brust, DVM, president of the Association of Sugar Gliders Veterinarians; [...] has a whole series of free videos. Dr. Brust's videos are also available on You Tube. The main differences between this book and the recommendations of Dr. Brust are the diet, and the best housing for the animals. Dr. Brust wrote the book, Sugar Gliders: A Complete Veterinarian Care Guide. Unfortunately, his book was written for veterinarians who must learn how to treat these little animals after people read books by novices like the author of this book. I hope Dr. Brust will write a book for the general public, but for now, at least there are videos to learn from, and the transcripts of the videos can be printed from the ASGV website.

Good basic information book for glider owners. Most information can be found online from different sources but this was helpful to have it all in one place. There was a really helpful table that has difference foods and their phosphorus vs calcium ratios which has to be monitored with gliders.If you found this helpful please click that you did below.
