I have used several liquid lipsticks in the past. This is not my favorite, but I really do like it, and it is certainly in my top 5! I ordered in the color Saint. This is true to color swatches (though I did look up MANY swatches before purchasing, to see it on different skin tones). It's not hard to apply, but I definitely prefer a liner and using a brush for application, but I don't really like doe foot applicators on anything. This can be a bit drying. You need to prep properly, and you need to use moisturizing products after. If you don't already know that you probably aren't ready for liquid lipsticks. Once this dries down, it's matte without looking powedery and holy STAYING POWER! This lasted a solid 6 hours for me before I felt the need to touch up. That was through work, and eating/drinking. I'm really pleased with this lipstick.**I am reviewing the PRODUCT not the company or its business practices!! At this point most everyone who is into makeup knows about Lime Crime. I made an informed decision what to do with my own money and I suggest you let others do the same!!**

OK, when I first put this on I had no idea this was like a type of lip stain, boy does it STAY. I panicked since baby wipes wern't working (I don't have makeup wipes) and quickly looked online on how to remove it. They told me vaseline. I had no vaseline. I had baby wipes. So then I used chapstick and that worked, and I thought, would it be easier to wipe off if I applied a base coat of chapstick underneath?AND HOLY HELL IS IT EASY.Color (I ordered Saint) is great and it lasts long as heck, but ofc if you eat some will inevitably come off. It looks darker on me since I have a light skin tone and would pair nice with simple black eyeliner and filled in brows, nothing too crazy.You'll find a dupe of this review under other Lime Crime listings because they are essentially the same thing, just different colors.

Looking for a BLUISH RED, upon the recommendation of another user after I posted a question I ordered "Saint." While I LOVE LOVE LOVE the consistency and staying power of this brand (new to me), this color does NOT read a TRUE RED with BLUE TINT as I had hoped, more of a brownish suede reddish color (at least on my honky lips, LOL)! I am ordering "Wicked" next in hopes of coming closer to what I have in mind. A true red with a bluish tint is more flattering on fair skinned white chicks like myself, :) Will let ya know how it works out in an edit to this post later. :) <3 Tremendous staying power. NON drying in my experience (but I am an exfoliation freak). And the consistency is marvelous.... Just what I'm looking for if I can just find that BLUE BLOOD red I'm seeking! Thanks to all who helped me chose color tho - everyone's got their favorite and of course colors read differently on different skin tones. <3

This color is amazing!! I have yet to try it and I'm super excited. I'm just bummed that this is a knock off version of the real thing. Just Google it for anythingUpdate: I tried it on and it dries quickly. The only downside is to be careful of what you eat after applying. I ate a subway sandwich and the color started to smudge away so I just took it off after. It's still an amazing color and works great with my skin tone!!

This color has more of an orange hue than in this picture. It's still pretty but I'd use it with another color added. Also, make sure your lips are dehydrated (absolutely nothing in them) prior to applying the liquid lip color; otherwise, it'll wipe right off your lips.
