Good for Raw wood application. Not as varnish
I bought this product thinking this will equally work as varnish. But not, this is a blend of natural linseed oil with varnish and other chemical, which the application will create a secure layer for wood. But will not replace the glossy finish varnish gives. While varnish give a thick coating only over surface, this oil penetrates into wood creating an internal protection against moisture and water. I was disappointed because it too 4 days for drying. The raw wood will absorb the oil quickly. Make sure you sand paper the wood before application. Beginners will find difficulties in finishing. I wiped out the oil with a cloth for quick dry on smooth surface. Color, texture and appearance of oil. Not too thick like varnish. Overall good product for Raw wood Application.

One of the best finishes for Softwoods. - Note- not suitable for dense hardwoods.
Danish oil is also called teak oil and is a blend of mineral oils and linseed oil. The mineral oils help in penetration of the softwoods to create a durable finish. The oil darkens the grains and creates a deeper look. Its great for applications of SPF and Douglas fir etc. Its is not applicable for very dense hardwoods like dense teak and walnut etc as the penetration does not occur and it leaves an oily, sticky film on these. I have attached an image of the wood before and after. The oiled portion is to the left and bare SPF on right. Some images of Oiled SPF furniture have been attached for your reference too. Overall a great product for Softwoods.

Absolutely 1000 times value for money.
Applied 320 grit sand paper on a very old solid wood rack followed by aeroplane brand danish oil in generous quanity with two inch brush. Let it air dry for 6-8 hours on a rainy day. Did a thorough pressured detailed rubbing with a rag along the grain. My goodness, what a finish, what a texture, i mean amazing. With this please keep up the good work. Wishing the aeroplane people or brand a fantastic luck, best regards.

Definitely value for money. Just improve the packaging
I am deducting one star as the product reached me and it was damaged. But not much oil was spilled. And it is quite easy to use. And gives the furniture a good finish and protection. Gonna buy more.

Does not dry at all
This batch seems to take forever to dry .. it’s been 10 days since the first application and it is still sticky.. previous ones That I bought from the same concern had no issues whatsoever.. those dried quickly and it kept the sheen intact on indoor furnitures than outdoors .. considering I’ve been using raw and danish oil from this brand for the last three years or so I’d expect it to perform as it did before if not a bit better .. qualitywise it is as expected .. wud like to replace it with double boiled linseed oil if possible.. not at all satisfied with this new batch of danish oil ..
