Elmer's E859 Carpenter's Wood Filler, 3.25-Ounce Tube, Walnut

We bought it to fill in wooden cracks n found it simple to use. Though its a bit expensive but that's worth it because you can use it directly without making further solution of the paste

Good product but expensive

Some of my paint brushes are rather expensive and I don’t want to replace them. So I fill the holes , straighten the metal , sand and paint them. This was rather easy to do and they are still usable.

I used this product to fill multiple brad nail indentations on some kitchen cabinet crown moulding. I also used it to fill small openings in the mitered corners of the moulding. This wood filler was very easy to use and spread. It was just the right consistency from the tube. I filled everything by squeezing small amounts on to my moistened index filler and then pressed the product into the brad indentations and the crown moulding joints. Again, I used a moist finger to slide along the filled areas to remove any excess. I then smoothed it out further by running a damp cloth along the filled areas using very mild pressure. No sanding was needed! The job took about 1/2 hour and the wood filler remained pliable - not drying out too quickly. I did not yet paint over the filled areas, but I anticipate good performance again based on the reviews. This is the best wood filler that I've ever worked with!
