The media could not be loaded.  Magnet catching strength is strong enough if floor fixed metal latch make a suitable angle parallel with magnet increase the contact surface area - line contact to flat surface contact. One screw fixing hole added on top mid of magnetic part fixed to door panel. As the provided screw holes too lower position of metal part, there is a chance of break the lowest part of wooden door panel. Its not a complain ii's suggestion to manufactures / designers / the buyers to improve the the product functions.Thanks & Regards,

I used it for door. Design is nice as the floor unit is slim and won't obstruct while walking. The magnet was not catching from the floor unit. So we fixed it reverse.

Build quality is impressive. Not adhesive type, needs drilling

They don’t include the screws to attach both the magnet to door and the base plate that one needs to screw to the ground. Due to high of the door from the base i had to use wooden blocks to fix the base plate as the magnet was not strong enough to grab the metal piece from the base plate. It works but does not hold the door strongly, like just a touch and the door gets separated.

Cost can be less..
