Hi! This Can-Am Maverick 1000 Tie Rod and End set is a very, very high quality product. The Tie Rods are 1 inch Black Anodized 6061 Billet Aluminium and the Tie Rod Ends are 4130 Chromoly Aircraft Grade steel which is 3 to 4 times stronger than stock OEM. No other company makes this strong a tie rod end, Period. Can-Am OEM Tie Rods have what some consider a design flaw from the factory. They are not adjustable like normal Auto, ATV and UTV Tie Rods as the have a right hand thread on both sides making the tie rod non-adjustable without removing the the ball joint from the spindle every time you need to turn the tie rod. We fixed this problem and put a left hand thread on one side and a right hand thread on the other side. To adjust it all you need to do is loosen the Jam Nuts and turn the tie rod like on any other ATV or UTV. I addition the Tie rods have a lifetime Structural Warranty and the Tie Rod Ends have a 90 day warranty. They replace OEM Part Number 709401427. Note: This Fits ALL Maverick 1000 Models 2013 trhough 2017 except xc, xc-dps,xxc which are the narrower Cross Country Models.
