WamBam Traditional 4 by 4-Feet Premium Vinyl Yard and Pool Gate with Powder Coated Stainless Steel Hardware

I love this fence! It beautiful, very sturdy and functional, low maintenance, and superior quality! I love vinyl railing. I have it around both my front and back decks...I actually replaced the wooden railing on the back deck with vinyl a couple of summers ago and loved the look and low maintenance of it, so I was very pleased to find this WamBam fence! It's going to be so easy to clean with just a water hose or pressure washer. No staining or sanding, ever! The fence went together simply, easily, and quickly. I love that the posts that come with this fence are actual posts, not just vinyl sleeves that you slide over a 4x4 like my deck railings, and they also have a bit of an architectural look to them, as opposed to just a standard square post. I missed that somehow when I ordered the fence, so I had purchased 4x4s but was able to take them back and save some money. I hope to add sections of this as I can afford it, and one day, have my entire yard enclosed with this WamBam fence.I love this fence and gate! The gate was a little more difficult and time consuming to put together, but it looks great with the fence. The hardware is of very good quality and the hinges are spring loaded so that it's self closing and will keep my dogs safe. I ordered the additional WamBam Traditional 2-Pack Premium Vinyl Posts with Caps, 6 by 4.5-Inch...as per the description, you will need an additional post to close off your fence project since each of these sections comes with just one post. However, that package was missing the caps. I first contacted Amazon and they weren't able to provide me with the missing caps, so I emailed WamBam via their website. Just over an hour later, I received a response from a representative stating they'd ship out the missing caps to me at no charge. Everyone that has seen my fence has bragged on how good it looks and that makes me proud. I love and highly recommend this company and their products. I will be a repeat customer!

Highly recommend for any DIYer. Digging the holes for the posts was the hardest part by far. Putting the posts in the concrete & assembling the fence was very easy & simple. Looks beautiful & is definitely functional. Probably couldn't support weight or climbing with the hardware it comes with as it's just a couple screws, but we are extremely happy with how the fence came out, & happy that we were able to install it in a weekend.

The product is great! The size, the sturdiness, and the ease of assembly. I found the instructions were lacking. However, my biggest issue was that the required size for the screws were missing. There were no 'short' screws. So, I needed to go to my local hardware store to purchase additional screws.

With just a little prep, installing a fence couldn't be any easier. And looks great! It turned out beautifully, and I intend to purchase more for the back yard. My only hitch was that a couple of caps are damaged, and trying to reach sender for replacements....

Just finished assembling this gate and wanted to share my thoughts to fellow DIY'ers:*This thing is sturdy and nice and big. Not some flimsy plastic. The key parts are fortified with wood - not hallow plastic. (When the box arrived at my house there was a big "HEAVY" stamped across it.)*You do need to follow the directions because it's easy to screw up - but they tell you all over the place to assemble first before you put any of the plastic cement on the parts. This is very important. I ignored it and screwed up (but was able to recover).*The customer support is AWESOME. I wish all companies were like this. Superfast response, answered all my questions, and seemed genuinely interested in helping me. This alone would make me consider going WamBam again.*These are some industrial grade hinges. I went and bought my own spring loaded hinges since I planned to use this as a pool gate and wanted to meet code, but it turns out the hinges are self closing. I didn't see that called out in the description but was a very pleasant surprise.

This gate is a horrible design and has some major issues with hardware. The gate itself is a pretty good quality and goes together easy as long as you follow the instructions. The issues arise with the hardware. The first problem is the screws that are packaged with the hinges when driven into the gate actually poke through the other side. They should be at least 1/4" shorter. The second issue is the hinges when mounted to the 4x4 are actually larger than the post and stick past. Third issue is the instructions say the posts should be 52" tall. When you attach the latch to the post based on where the instructions indicate the latch sticks up a 1/2" over the post and you will never be able to put a cap on the post. Fourth issue is you can not use this on a corner like I did because the railing that meets the post with the hinges are in the way of the railing bracket. If you do buy this gate make sure you triple check everything with the hardware before you screw into the vinyl on the gate.

The fence was easy to put together, two people with Patience is needed. It looks great and is doing a perfect job keeping my dogs in one place

I had hired a professional to install the fence and this gate. The gate looks nice but assembly instructions aren't that great.One of the instruction stickers was incorrectly placed and it resulted in criss-cross. The guy had to figure it out based on his experience and there were couple of nail holes created as a result of this.The gate can be leveled by adjusting the screw at the hinge. Wish it had auto-close functionality too.
