Loved reading about Puck’s story.
Absolutely loved this book. I loved going back into this world of the Nevernever and the characters. Puck was finally able to give us his story in that Puckish way of his. Lol. Really enjoyed this book. Definitely worth a read!

Always a fan
I loved reading about the Iron Queen once again, it is like visiting an old friend and Puck finally gets his own story, though it was a long time coming. The magic of the Fey realm, the Iron Fey and the wonder of the NeverNevet. This world is magical and the journey is full of danger and adventure, even romance is given a chance and the outcome will surprise you.

The start of a new trilogy featuring the delightful Robin Goodfellow
‘The Iron Raven’ by Julie Kagawa is the first in her new Evenfall trilogy set in the Iron Fey universe. In it Robin Goodfellow aka Puck: King Oberon’s jester made famous by A Midsummer Night’s Dream, tells his own story including his part in dealing with a serious new threat to all of Faerie.Puck is a bit like a faerie Deadpool (or vice versa given how long Puck has been around). He loves to quip and wisecrack, happily breaking the fourth wall to address his audience.Years ago I did read a number of the Iron Fey books, so am fairly familiar with its characters and setting. Still, I appreciated that Kagawa included background that both refreshed my memory and filled in some gaps.I had been very fond of Robin from his first appearance in ‘The Iron King’ and so this book was a must read for me. I was also very happy to see the return of the cat-sith, Grimalkin.‘The Iron Raven’ was great fun while also exciting with plenty of action along the way. I am looking forward to Book 2 in the series next year.

I have missed Puck
Oh I have missed the Iron series and all of its many characters. I have been reading this series for years and was more than happy when I heard we would get more and from Pucks POV.I have no words for how much I truly love everything about these books. From their storylines, to the characters both old and new and Julie's writing.Being in Pucks head was very interesting. Learning how his mind works, about what has made him who he is and getting to know all those things he tries so hard to keep buried so deep but always end up bubbling just under the surface. I loved him reuniting with Meghan and Ash for a whole.new adventure. I adore his relationship with Grimalkin, these two crack me up. And him and Nyx well thats my favourite part of this book and what he learbs from their travels.I cannot wait for the next book!!

A great story
I loved all of the Iron Fey books and now for Puck to be the hero in this new book is brilliant. A great introduction to this new series. Looking forward to reading more on Puck and all the other Fey characters again, including new ones.
