a little disappointed that the flavor could have been a little stronger , I would have added a little gravy master to the ingredients to enhance it, I made the neatloaf and it was good but probably better with the gravy master

I liked this seitan. This IS a seitan, right?I have been looking for a few meat alternatives to add to/ start a more plant-based diet regiment. But I really had no idea of where to start or what kind of "meat" to go with. Vejje seemed like I good option, small business so I decided to give them/it a shot.Anyhow, I liked it and it was easy enough to make. put in the requirements, water & olive oil. I used some sesame seed oil and some mushroom powder too on the second batch I made. The taste was ground beef-y enough and made like I want to say I near a pounds worth with each package.The texture is very ground beef like as well. I bought this along with the chicken flavored. I feel that the "ground beef" is much more successful at mocking both the flavor and texture than the chicken is, for me. In both, there are bits of soy I think. Which adds alot to the meaty mouth-feel.It just seems to lend itself better in the beef than the chicken. An because I used the beef like ground beef and didn't make "burger/patties" I think that made me feel more comfortable making and experimenting with the beef than the chicken.I'll try this again but I am going to shop around for other options and I've since found a number of sites that are dedicated to plant based meat and other items too

It's a nice product but too salty.

Well, I didn't believe it, either. So glad I tried it because Veije really did it! It's over the top! Had wondered if their Ground Beef and Burger mix would make hamburgers good enough for camping. Grilled or pan-fried, nobody could tell the difference and all thought they were great meaty burgers. When I told them, they wouldn't believe me. Their large variety is worth a try and I suspect Veije will soon become my butcher shop.

Made burgers and chili. Both were excellent!

I got this to replace ground beef for Sloppy Joe's and it worked well! Doesn't reheat as well though with the sloppy joe sauce mixed in, so eat it all up at once if you make them. Makes a good burger too, although this appears to work better in ground form than patty form as the patties easily fall apart. Tastes great and rivals Impossible Burger in flavor. Definitely purchasing again!

Not what I expected. would not hold together , tasted like fried cardboard that no amount of seasoning would help. I am sure a vegan wrote the promo ads for this item , it was NOTHING like a burger. Trying to watch my cholesterol and carbohydrate levels and this did not help.

I didn't expect that this tastes so good as it does! Color, flavour, texture everything is good. I will try the chicken free version
