I’ve had mine for almost 4 years in direct sunlight. No fading whatsoever! One of my favorite purchase for my pool area.

We really liked this umbrella. The umbrella fabric and umbrella itself were fine. But the shaft hinge system that lets it "bend" to different angles is very weak and it just snapped in a 10 MPG wind after 4 years. Too bad because the rest of it is in excellent condition. Better buy the extended warranty and ge your money back or replacement. We didn't unfortunately.

This umbrella started off great, but proved to not be durable. A waste of money and completely useless after less than 2 months of use! Can’t return because of Amazon’s 30 day return policy.

So far so good! We had the exact same umbrella previously and after a few years the crank becomes disengaged and doesn't work. Hopefully, the product has improved.

I purchased this umbrella in June 2014 and really liked. However at the end of July the crank malfunctioned. Of course when I contacted customer service the representative told me I was a week past the return window. After arguing with them for 2 hours, they finally agreed to replace the umbrella. Unfortunately, the replacement didn't hold up well either. NY weather has been very nice well into October so my patio furniture is still outside along with the umbrella. During the middle of the night in the first week of Oct there apparently was a strong rain storm. When I woke up I found the umbrella broken in half. The pole completely snapped! It is not repairable and once again Amazon customer service is telling me the umbrella is not returnable nor is there a warranty on it. I don't want a replacement at this point just a refund and I'm being told I can't get that by Amazon. Maybe I can get a partial refund on an umbrella that I've owned for a total of 4 months. It's ridiculous. Don't waste your money on thiz umbrella and definitely don't buy any other from Amazon! I used to buy many things from Amazon but they just lost a customer for life.
