best grater ive ever owned, not only does it grate cheese etc with ease it does garlic and ginger really easy and quick. worth every penny seriously!

If you like to cook, and have decent utensils, this is a great addition. It’s very well-made, with a nice feel soft handle, that’s ergonomically shaped for a comfortable grip. The main grater body is stainless steel (important), and very sharp.This is very well thought out, and perfect for Parmesan (which we use a lot of), and brilliant for zesting, grating cholate etc; just the job if you like to bake cakes. Size (length, width, handle) is optimum for getting the most out of it.The grater has a decent ABS plastic cover to protect against finger abrasion / cut when not in use, so sits happily and safely in a drawer. It’s very easy to clean, and dishwasher safe (the easiest and best way to clean, I would say)Overall, this is a super kitchen utensil, and something that adds genuine benefit. Great quality, good value. No issues at all with this, and a recommended product.I hope that you have found this helpful.

This is seriously sharp and needs a great deal of care in use or when washing up. Not that I’m complaining, and the handle is comfortable and grippy, which helps prevent accidents. It’s on the coarse side, as a citrus grater, but that’s perfectly ok for most purposes and adds to its versatility with other foods.The cover, however, while useful for safe storage, tends not to stay put if knocked in a drawer. And for some reason it has cut-outs that provide access to the business side of the grater.The only other significant negative is that the tiny rubber blocks on the end don’t stop it slipping. If you want to rest the end on a work surface or board while grating, it slides around.Recognised brands may be more expensive but they’re probably worth it. After all, a quality zester could well last a lifetime. In any case, we wouldn’t buy because, while it’s distributed by a German company, it’s made in China. We’re doing all we can to avoid supporting the Chinese economy, given all the wrongs China is perpetrating in the world. If you feel less strongly and don’t want to spend more, this is quite good value.

...but I do wish that it had a proper sheath for the surface of this is VERY SHARP, as you might expect.Care does need to be taken putting the basic plastic-type cover on & taking it off, as does grating/zesting with it..but it does a grand job, in my experience.It is also tricky to get the remains off the grater before washing.I put both the grater & the cover on the very top rack of the dishwasher and it is still a tight fit.With a chunky, non-slip handle, it measures around 32.5 cm overall with the guard in place. The grating edge is around 20 cm long x around 2 cm wide, with two little black non-slip feet to rest on when using. The 2-tone black & grey rubberised handle has a hole in the end to allow it to hang around, if required.It came simply presented in a plastic type bag in a branded cardboard box with instructions thereon (images below refer).[14 images attached]
