These are great. Small and fits in our receptacles wonderfully.

These bulbs were just the size I wanted for the spotlights illuminating my staircase. Everything seemed fine initially. Then one time I saw two out of four of them on the same circuit flashing strangely. The circuit is controlled by an Insteon dimmer. Only two of the bulbs did this. I haven't noticed the issue since but it makes me wary.

OK, I had one of two range hood lights burn out in the kitchen.Didn't love the warm, not so bright light that was in there already, but it was adequate.I ordered these, to see if it was any better. It was certainly cheaper, at $2 1/2 bucks a bulb, instead of the $6.+ bucks a bulb for what was already in there.See my side by side picture. The white light on the left is the new LED bulb, and the warmer light on the Right is the older, more expensive bulbs.That's all gonna be personal choice, and if you're into mood lighting, the warm light is probably best, but with my old eyes, I'll take the bright clean light, every time - especially when I'm working. I'm not posing for a picture at the stove, I'm trying to work, so I'll take the light.Your decision may differ from mine, but there's no denying there is a clear difference. (I put a spare bulb of each kind on the appropriate side, so you can see the actual bulbs.)

I needed black bulbs to fit in with my track lighting. I could get the black painted bulbs on a specialty site, but they were over double the price and charged $25 shipping plus tax. I used a little Rustoleum spray paint without any surface prepping on the bulbs and turned them black. The right decision.Pay attention to the color of the light options - it makes a diffeence.

I chose the WARM color option, but these bulbs are VERY COLD WHITE. (Yes, I checked the box to ensure the right ones had been sent.) California outlawed my beloved halogens -- can't buy them for the many tracks of lights in my home. These were offered as best alternative. They are markedly whiter and COLDER than the halogens. This box of bulbs in the trash bin. Going to find a brand that makes a warm hue, or have relatives in other states buy the halogens and FedEx to me. These bulbs might be good for garage or workspace where bright white is needed. But for kitchen, bedrooms, baths, these give the look of a science lab.
