Easy for me to use.
You can lift the grill out of the smoker with more safety and control than the tool that comes with the smoker. The gripper material is most helpful in foul weather and flare ups.

Teeth are to big for my green egg grill and handle is way too small.
Teeth are to big for my green egg grill and handle is way too small for the weight. I’m sure this would be fine for lightweight grills. Definitely not for the green egg

A little disappointed
I have given this 3 stars due leaving it on my grill shelf in the sun for approximately a week and the vinyl cover split. Other than that it works exactly like it is described and made of cast iron I’m sure it will last forever.

Works better than using a large fork
I was using a fork to lift the grates off my hot grill. This is definitely more practical. I’m glad I saw this and took a chance.
