Barska AB10594 Gladiator Zoom Binocular, 25-125x80 Green Lens Braced

This purchase was HARD! I read reviews, there are some hard opinions and some that like these Specs. As for Me, There are good for everything I was looking for. I had no problems, they arrived on time, the package had no damage and the where focused. I learned how to use the zoom, pretty easy to figure out. One thing is the focal point gets smaller, but just folding the eyes cover in, and putting your eyes closer to the lens, makes it larger. They are heavy and a steady tripod is recommended. Night time is great as the Moon is huge and the craters are clean and the crater rims are easier to see. I can see the nebula, Mars, Jupiter, etc.I live at the Beach, in a high rise building. I can see upto 37 miles away up the coast and can see coastal buildings and Shrimp Boats.For the money, these are great binoculars, and I'd buy one for my son or daughter.

I purchased this item 6 months ago, did not have much time to use it but when I did the whole control mechanism was kind of difficult to maneuver. Then it become so stiff that I could not zoom properly anymore , anyhow it was registered under warranty so I contacted Barska for the repair , you cannot get through their phone is always on voicemail and when you email them it takes days for a response . Got the item shipped to them in USA at my own cost , I had to pay a repair fee and had to pay for courier again back in Canada. When I got it back , to my surprise the item I got had so much wear and tear unlike my unused Binoculars , the rubber was scratched all over , lots of moving parts and logo was loose but the worse thing is the binocular is now seeing double , I believe out of colimation. I contacted them back via email , website , but they just ghosted me and sent me back rubbish instead . This company is unreliable and I would not recommend , it feels like a scam , customer service and warranty is a complete Joke . Amazon should take action about this . You will only know who you are really dealing with after you encounter a problem!

You need a good tripod because it is heavy!

A little learning curve and now I can get the results I need in seconds, not overly difficult to operate but for the price I feel this is a great buy to get started.Everything is pulled in close to get the results you need... however, I am no expert in the field of binocular optics and I feel Max zoom may not quite be 125x but what I will add is at Max Zoom these do become very responsive to even the slightest movement, yes a tripod would be advised, but mid zoom to low these things really do surpass expectations.Very happy with the purchase and super fast delivery time.Thank you
