I bought the BLOCCS XS a couple of weeks ago for my 5-year-old, who currently has a cast that goes halfway up his calf. The cover fits just below his knee and has been excellent for pool time—his cast has stayed completely dry every single time. For extra peace of mind, I also use a second cast cover, which is a different brand and shape. I found out however, that it’s not pool-proof. That said, the BLOCCS cover does the job on its own—I just use the secondary one as a backup in case of a puncture or rogue cannonball. Bottom line: BLOCCS works great, even with a very active 5-year-old. Highly recommend if you want to keep casts dry without turning pool time into a science experiment.

This cast cover was simply amazing, my little man broke his leg at 15 months old and had a cast to his thigh. This was strechy and durable that I was able to get it up over his cast and never had water leak in. We actually had it fully submerged in a pool with him over the summer and the cast stayed completely dry.

My daughter is 3.5 and fractured her tibia in the middle of summer 😭 we thought she wouldn’t be able to go swimming or take baths for a while, but then we found this! We used one of her brother’s baseball socks to put on first and then slid this over it. I was worried the cast might damage the rubber so the sock gave me peace of mind. Worked like a charm! My daughter wore it for longer than the recommended 30 mins (it was closer to 3 hours!). She never complained about it hurting. And there wasn’t even much of a mark when we removed it which was surprising. She just played and splashed in the water like always! She even got in the big pool with us so it was completely submerged. Just make sure to burp it before going in. It’s easier if you have someone to help you. I held my daughter over the pool and slowly lowered her in until there were only a couple inches exposed at the top over the water. Then my mom slipped her finger in the top to release the trapped air. And we were good to go! We used it on multiple occasions in the pool and for baths/showers. Each time we removed the cast cover, her cast was bone dry. And the cover is super quick to air dry. Would recommend this to anyone! I wasn’t sure if the small would be too short but it was perfect. Her cast went from her ankle all the way up to to top of her thigh.

This product saved my grandsons summer. He will be in a cast for 8 to 10 weeks. I bought this with no expectations. Amazingly it works great! I would recommend making sure to get the size correct for comfort. Tried it in the shower first and passed. Next we tried the pool and it was submerged for 30 minutes and when it was taken off cast was dry. I give this product a 5 star rating

Hate to say, but thjs was supposed to be a CHILDS Large.... I am 5ft10in... and it came to mid-thigh on me. The bag is huge and not tight enough to keep water out. we are now trying the Childs Small. We'll see - hopefully this next one will work. Not very thick either.

Works great and keeps the water out. My 12 year old daughter was in a cast halfway up her leg and this covered it perfectly! It has a really great seal and let her swim and still enjoy the water.

My child fractured her ankle over the summer, so we got this to put over her boot so she could still have some water fun. It worked great at first but on the third wear, a hole formed and her boot got soaked. Thank goodness it wasn’t a cast and we could air it out. She only wore it in the pool and we never let her just walk around with it on. So we’re bummed a hole formed that easily. When you do put it on, definitely slowly put it in the water until it’s mostly submerged and then “burp” it to let the air out. It creates a pretty good seal…. Until a hole happens at least.

I bought this for my 3 year old that broke his leg a week before family vacation. It worked great the first time we used it and my sons cast stayed dry. The next time however there was a small hole in the top you couldn’t see and his cast got soaked. We ended up having to get an urgent appointment to replace his cast. So that was pretty disappointing, but without that issue it’s a great product and true to size. My son is very skinny, still fits in 2T and the cover fit him perfectly.

Ich habe den Bloccs Wasserdichten Fußprotektor für meine Tochter gekauft, nachdem ihr eine Infektion am Fuß entfernt wurde. Ohne diesen Schutz wäre es ein sehr trauriger Sommer für sie geworden, aber dank des Protektors konnte sie wieder ohne Sorgen ins Schwimmbad gehen und das Wasser genießen. Positiv: Der Fußprotektor hat seinen Zweck absolut erfüllt und den Fuß zuverlässig trocken gehalten. So konnte meine Tochter trotz Wunde und Verband unbeschwert schwimmen und planschen. Das Material fühlt sich hochwertig an, und der Protektor lässt sich relativ leicht an- und ausziehen. Ich würde ihn definitiv jedem empfehlen, der nach einer unkomplizierten Lösung sucht, um trotz Gips oder Verband nicht auf Wasseraktivitäten verzichten zu müssen. Wichtig zu beachten: Es ist jedoch wichtig, dass der Protektor richtig sitzt und die Luft vor dem Schwimmen herausgedrückt wird. Wenn der Schutz nicht gut anliegt oder man diesen Schritt vergisst, kann sich der „Socken“ mit Wasser füllen und verliert seine Schutzfunktion. Daher unbedingt die richtige Größe wählen und beim Anlegen sorgfältig vorgehen. Fazit: Der Bloccs Fußprotektor hat meiner Tochter den Sommer gerettet und ermöglicht, trotz Verletzung ins Wasser zu gehen. Mit der richtigen Anwendung hält er zuverlässig dicht. Für uns war es eine absolute Erleichterung – klare Kaufempfehlung!

I’m 5’8 and broke my ankle. I bought the child size large and it goes over my cast and knee no problem. I was quite hesitant at first when I received the bag, it’s not what I had expected for “tightness” around the top of the bag where it would seal. At first I used it in the shower with a garbage bag underneath just incase but after two uses I went to just the cover and no leaks or issues. Yesterday I used it in the pool, I wouldn’t say I completely submerged it as I sat on the steps and my leg floated because of the air in the bag (was the plan anyways) and than floated around on a pool chair for over an hour with no leak or issue. I’m extremely cautious with it in terms of my nails and rings definitely would ruin the bag if it was snagged. But so far so good!

Amazing invention! My daughter has a leg cast and wrapping garbage bags with tape did not help in the shower. Water still manage to seep through. I googled this product and found it on Amazon! I followed the measurements exactly and it fits perfectly. What is best is , amazon delivered the next day when I urgently needed it. A lifesaver! I highly recommend this if you have a leg cast. My daughter is 10 years old but I took the medium size for 4-9. The age isn’t accurate. The measurements are more accurate depending on your cast size.
