My Favourite Heavy Bag. Perfect for Brittle Hands!
I've been boxing since age 5 and I'm now a month shy of turning 35. I have owned every type of bag the market has to offer almost (including several water bags) but this air/ water combination is a genius idea! It provides an entirely different feel than any other bag I've ever used. My hands have always been a bit calcium deficient and over the years I've broken both hands in countless places countless times. I never thought it was possible for me to hit a heavy bag bare handed (I don't train like this, but I'm just illustrating a point). When hung with rope or a good tow strap... this bag is the most quiet bag I've ever owned. Even with the give in the bag while being punched, it still has the mass to give you a proper work out and makes you throw your punches correctly. The foam wrap is perfect for giving you a solid amount of feedback. It's an incredible deal that it's even included! The bag in itself is an incredible deal so the fact that so many extras are included... it's simply amazing! I purchased this in June of 2022 so the handwraps included are longer and I must say they are excellent quality! The jump rope is fantastic as well! I've heard people say it's too long... but I believe these are beginners who don't know that you adjust the rope by unscrewing the ends and tieing the excess off. I use boxing gloves as part of my training so I don't use the included bag gloves but I must say, after trying them on, that they're quality as well! Plenty of padding while still allowing for easy opening and closing of the hands. I don't think they include the electric pump anymore after improving the bag, increasing hand wrap length and other things. They give you a great manual pump that is large in size and includes removable stand pieces and multiple nozzle fittings. It works fantastic and is useful for many things. They even include a sink adapter with a large amount of hose relatively. They even include a patch kit (though idk how anyone would puncture this). I can't empathise how amazing all of this is considering how many other, more expensive and inferior products, give you nothing or maybe 1-2 small things like a hose adapter and or a small bit of hanging chain.Don't hesitate on buying the best heavy bag on the market! I wish I found this a long time ago!

I loved my Century
I bought this to replace my old Century Wave 3ft water heavy bag which sprung a leak. I got the Century 2nd hand and have no idea of the age. I loved my Century. I would almost never wear gloves with the Century, I would just go out and throw 300lbs of my 200lb body at it.I bought the MaxxMMA because Century does not offer a 5 or 6ft Thai version of the water heavy bag.I will say right now, If you are on the fence about what brand to buy and you don't throw low kicks, BUY THE CENTURY!!The MaxxMMA is built different and stings more when you punch it (I will get into that). If you throw bombs at this MaxxMMA you will want gloves on. It does give in with strikes, so less chance of wrist injuries, it just stings. The Century had a ring of dense foam all around the outside of the bag (hence the bag looks full and regular when there is no water in it.) then you fill the middle with water. This gave the bag an amazing feel to lay into it bare handed. The MaxxMMA bag is just a double rubber bladder inside the casing. You fill the inner portion of the bladder with air, this gives it the shape, then the outside of it gets water.I seen people say it gets soft on top? I don't think they filled the air bladder enough. I filled it with air until the whole casing was filled, this made me nervous because it seems to be way to much pressure for a balloon.. but hey, MaxxMMA says they will stand behind it..I think MaxxMMA throws in that foam cushion because after they designed it, they probably realized how much this design sucks compared to Century's. BUT! With the cushion installed, the MaxxMMA bag feels almost just as good as the Century's. I will be buying a second cushion so I can have the cushion along the whole bag so I do not have to wear gloves or shin guards.Bottom line. The bag looks and feels good, and seems to be made fairly well. Buy it if you want a Thai water bag, just make sure you get the foam pad, if you just want a standard heavy bag, get a Century.

Great product
I have worked out with heavy bags for over 3 decades as part of my martial arts training. This bag is one of the best water heavy bags money can buy. In fact, its one of the best bags I have worked out with. I like that I can kick as forcefully as I want with less worry of hyperextending my knees because the bag absorbs the impact. I feel that my overall form and techniques with punches and kicks have improved, as well as the intensity of the workout. Highly recommend, especially for the price.

It's OK if you have a high enough hang point
I was excited to get this as I cannot go to my current gym due to the pandemic.Setup was easy at first. I filled it to 70lbs (weighed on a scale), hung it, and gave it a few whacks. While blows landing in the middle felt nice and solid, any blows landing near the top were met with softness. The straps are far too long and based on where I was hanging from, ~7ft, my straights and jabs were landing at the top. This is saying something, as I am only 5'5". Without the ability to hang it higher or adjust the straps, it was like basically bunching an empty bag. I was resolved to get it to work, so I filled it up some more air with water, up to 105lbs. When I filled it with water, I filled it until I could see the water at the top of the bag. Success, the top was firm enough, though not as firm as the middle. I hung it and had a short workout. The next day, I gave it a few straights and was disappointed when the top was no longer firm. It seems it somehow lost some air, maybe due to shifting temperatures (hung in a garage). I could fill it with more air and water, but bringing down and rehanging a 100+lb bag every time I want to use it is quite a chore. I also noticed - not sure how I missed this - that the first 1.5 or so feet of the bag from the bottom is just air. If you did hang it higher and wanted to land some low- or body kicks, you would no longer be hitting a firm water bag but rather a cushion of air. Still some resistance, but not what I was paying for.Due to the inability to hold air, I returned it.
