I prefer whole bean coffee and occasionally like a change from regular to hazelnut. This is the best, the hazelnut flavor is strong enough to make it's claim (some other coffee company's beans have barely had a hint of flavor). It lasts me a bit and is great with a splash of unsweetened almond milk. No stomach issues either, which is important! I've been buying this for a few years now, probably 4 or so bags (2lbs and 1 person takes a bit).

This is the second time I’ve ordered these beans. We use it for our Jura machine. You’re not supposed to have oily beans, and these tend to be a little oily, but this has a wonderful hazelnut flavor that I was looking for.

Columbian coffee: looks good, smells good, tastes burnt like dark roast

The flavored smell is there when opening the bag, but after brewing, the smell is minimal and the taste of the flavor (French Vanilla) is even less. Coffee is still overall good.

I'm a devoted coffee drinker of more than 50 years. I drink a fresh ground, French-pressed pot every day. While Arosto Scuro is described as Italian roast, I think it's closer to a dark roast. It is rich, bold, complex, and full-bodied. Probably a bit strong for casual drinkers, but a real find for discriminating enthusiasts.I have been recommending this coffee since I first discovered it at Sam's Club (they no longer carry it). It's a great value on Amazon anytime, and especially on Prime Days, Big Deal Days, etc. It's always fresh, and the beans store well in the sealed bags.I highly recommend Arosto Scuro.

I thought this was a great find... dark Italian Roast and Organic. However, when I got some beans out of the bag I became suspicious - it wasn't dark enough like an Italian Roast should be. I ground the beans and it revealed a mid-brown with white crystals grounded coffee. Now I'm really suspicious. I pull my first shot and it tasted like a Colombian mellow to median roast, not suitable for expresso drinks at all. So, if you are looking for a real Italian roast (organic or not), keep searching - you have not found it yet. This is terrible - not even close to it.

Fabulous aroma and flavour!! Not at all bitter, nor oily. I've use in drip, pour over and French press and prefer this in pour over.
