these were the perfect size and the colors are great.

I ordered three bags of rocks to use for resurrection Easter garden event at our church. 22 of the 72 rocks had sides that were less 2.5” and not useable. Several are also bumpy and hard to write on. See sample in the attached picture where my pen is 6” long.

Not at all like the image - all but 2 stones were dull gray. One was a tan potato rock, so not flat, nor is it good for painting, and the other lighter stone is chipped. So no usable stones in the lot. Not at all worth $38.00.
