Nice product overall
Nice product overall! I think the batch I got may have been a little old as some of the hardener had settled solid at the bottom. Had to use a screwdriver to stir it as the popsicle spatula just didn't cut it.For best performance, they recommend heating curing @ 65C/149F for 2hrs once poured... If you don't want to subject the component to heat, what I do is heat up mix for a few minutes just before pouring. It flows very nicely and minimizes bubbles.

This is what you need to pot Denso Slim ballasts.
This is what was recommended to pot Denso slim HID ballasts to ensure they don't get affected by the weather/moisture.I had never done it before but watched a few videos and saw the review on here as well so I'm posting my pictures to add in the bunch.Very easy to do, make sure you're wearing gloves and mix small batches, that way you don't accidentally run out of time or it becomes too hard. I did one ballast per batch that I made.Slowly poured into the ballast and make sure there's no air bubbles and then you wait several days unless you put it in the oven to cure.I'm doing a projector retrofit on my CT 200h so I have no rush at all and let these cured for at least a week or so. You can see the finished product is a completely waterproof ballast. This does add a little bit of weight to the ballast I was actually sort of surprised at how much heavier the ballast weighed after potting them. This probably completely voids any manufacturer's warranty and of course if something goes wrong you're not going to be able to get into the ballast after this. But if you're potting them you probably already know that and it doesn't matter.

Bottles not full
This epoxy is supposed to be mixed 50/50 by volume, however, there were unequal amounts of the two parts. One bottle was less than 3/4 full while the other less than 2/3 full. Also, one part had a solid scum just under the bottle cap that had to be cut and scraped off to get at the liquid below. I would expect more given the high cost of this small quantity of epoxy!

There is a lot better on the market, but a usable budget option
There are a lot better, more thermally conductive, faster curing, better fixed, and less smelly options on the market.Does it work? Yes.Is it worth the price? Barely.Willing to spend a bit more and get 2x or more performance with less fuss? Look at Kona 870 in dispenser tubes, or nearly anything else in mix pots, like Duralco 4525.
