This is a very nice compilation of prayers and useful information. I’m so glad I bought this book! It looks as if it’ll last a while and that I’ll use it for long a time. It’s well built. The variety of prayers is amazing and I’m so glad I was moved to purchase. If you’re on the fence, then go for it. You or your loved one will love and appreciate this book

EXCELLEN PRAYER BOK FOR ALL OCCASIONS

Serendipity? I "accidentally" discovered this treasure of a prayerbook recently while searching for a pocket book of Catholic prayers. At 6-1/2" x 4-1/4" and 408pp., it's a bit larger than the average "pocket"-sized book, but certainly still light and portable enough to carry most everywhere; and with the incredible selection of included prayers, you'll want to do just that. A lovely book. Flexible covers are simulated black leather, with the title stamped in gold-coloured lettering on cover and spine, and gold-gilt page edges. Pages are white, with crisp printing in black, red, and blue ink on regular paper (not thin, "Bible paper"). Main body text is an easy-to-read (approx.) 24pt bold serif font. As is the case with books of high-quality binding, head and tail bands are utilized (red and gold). There are also three satin ribbon-page markers: red, gold, and green. The included prayers are a fine mixture of the familiar, traditional ones every Catholic should know, various litanies, Devotions, prayers to Saints & Angels; along with some that are out of the ordinary/hard to find... Examples: prayers for those in military service, a prayer for times of loneliness, prayer for friends, prayer for enemies, prayers for success, family prayer in times of danger, prayer for a journey, prayer for rain, prayer for fair weather, prayers for the New Year, and many, many others. The Stations of The Cross,The Rosary (w/Luminous Mysteries), and The Divine Mercy are all here along with lovely, traditional, monochromatic illustrations and line art. Unlike with many portable prayer books, there is a very nice, 26pp selection of prayers for the sick, dying, and Holy Souls of Purgatory. Overall, this is a real treasure in the tradition of the good, old-fashioned kind of prayerbook our grandparents would have used, the kind of prayerbook that is timeless: equally useful and relevant today. It took some real "digging" to find this on Amazon. It's "buried" several layers too deep, in my opinion. I hope more people will discover this gem, for it is truly a prayerbook that every Catholic will surely cherish. Excellent quality and durability. I expect to have this in my family for several generations.

I was reluctant to spend the money but glad I did and is well worth it, I saw reviews that stated there was no table of contents or index. It’s on the last page. If the buyers take the time and really familiarize themselves it won’t be a problem. That’s the whole idea anyway. Plus the ribbons will help. It’s already helped my spiritual growth. I recommend it.

I wasn’t sure because I’m VERY particular about my prayerbook. I’m a former nun from a lifetime ago. This book is everything the reviews said Thanks people for those! I believed you.b all. So glad I did so !!! I finally have a real prayerbook I’ll use. It’s got all sorts of prayers by the saints old and new. What hooked me was the prayer but St John Paul Ii

Love it! I use it all the time. The table of contents is really inadequate at the back. You have to dig and search.

Everyone has days that the focus isn't there for thoughtful prayer. This will give you assistance for focusing and daily use. It is a great help.
