Strangers to friends to lovers
Okay! Gosh this book! I can't even share all of my highlighted phrases on Good reads because they feel so personal. 🤣(Minor spoiler unrelated to overall plot)I loved both the protagonists but I am completely biased towards the male lead. Dean was the sweetest ever! I mean a guy who would put up a fashion show for his girl when she is PMSing and an impromptu magic Mike performance with confidence! I love him!I love books where characters are kind, honest and considerate. Dean and Solange just gelled so well and got along like a house on fire 🔥.They were super aware of the mutual attraction and were dead honest about it when it mattered. (Thank God for that). They were also comfortable in their own skin and didn't feel the need to pretend like somebody else. (I'm talking about tropes where the hero pretends to be an arrogant prick or the heroine acts clueless about the way her body reacts to sexual attraction. It's so overdone)I loved the fact that this was a dual POV book. This was a true rom com and I was giggling like an idiot throughout the book. Smut was damn fun! The ending at a Vegas chappel was straight out of a rom com movie. That twist was refreshing. I need more books with super compatible MCs real quick!

Come and meet some wedding crashers who are adorable and naughty!
What I really liked about this book is the genuineness of Dean. The truth that he wants to believe in and yet he knows he is drawn towards Solange. There is a beautiful common ground that brings them together and I love that about the both of them. Solange knows Dean is set in his ways and she can't be with him.The lovely friendship they build in the entire narrative was really fun to read. I liked the messiness of both the characters and true TWBM was much much better but I would recommend this to my friends who don't read romance because it isn't all dreamy and yes the book made me laugh out loud a lot..You get to meet Max and Lina of course and you will enjoy meeting all the Tias and the love/annoyed relationship Solange has with her Tias is beautiful. That trust and that faith the family and cousins give you is the best thing to read. I had tears in my eyes.So romance reader or not, I think you need to read about Solange and Dean as characters and yes S*x is there. How could it not be.

An amazing book!
I LOVED this book! It was the perfect romcom. We had spice, romance, humour and fake dating!!The start of the book and the introduction between the two MC’s is one of my all time favourites! It was so clever and unique. But it also really set the tone for the rest of the book and did an amazing job at introducing the characters.Dean was a brilliant MMC. He was quite uptight at the start but once he started opening up he became much more humble and he was just adorable. I don’t know how Solange didn’t just pounce on him all the time. You could tell from the start that Solange and Dean fit so well together. They brought the best out of eachother and I couldn’t imagine them not together. There was so much sexual tension between Dean and Solange. The innocent touches and flirting made me so hot and bothered. The spice was so dirty but it also felt really romantic aswell.I have no idea how Mia Sosa managed to slot in a scene at a sex party and make it work, but it happened. I would’ve liked the scene to be a bit longer because I think it would’ve added another dimension to the story while also pleasing all of us smut seekers. We also got to see loads of Max and Lina from book 1 (The Worst Best Man). I love it when we get to see previous characters and I feel like lots of other books tend to fall short on this. So a big tick for this for Mia Sosa.✦ Tropes: fake dating, one bed

Big turn off halfway
I was enjoying this book until the halfway point where they got tricked into going to a sex party then decided to stay and watch. A completely unnecessary scene which felt totally out of place and put me off reading the rest of the book.

An okay second book
While I loved The worst Best man, this one fell abit flat, I don't know if I'm over the whole "Fake dating troupe" or that whole "I could never love someone" b.s but it just fell flat.
