I love these knives. I have several Zwilling J.A.Henckels knives and these knives were a welcomed addition to my collection. When they arrived, they were so sharp that I could shave with them. They are made in Germany which is a critical detail. When you buy any Henckels knife, make absolutely sure that the knives are made in Germany. The company allowed their knives to be manufactured in Spain and Taiwan at some point in the past. Those knives are a terribly inferior product, trust me, I have them all. Do your due diligence, read the fine print and make sure that the knives that you buy are made in Germany like these ones are. Trust me, I have made that mistake myself. You will pay more for the German product but it is well worth the extra dollars that you're going to spend. They hold an edge better than any knife that I've ever owned and are easily re-sharpened.

Just love these knives, and use them all the time. Good fit to the hand, very sharp. Blade shape aids precise cutting.
