Spice Jungle Mild Chile Threads - 1 oz.

They are a fun addition to the top of foods that need some mild heat. I ate several out of the package just because I needed to know the level of heat and get a feel for how they might enhance a dish. They are rather low on the heat level, but we eat a lot of spicy food. Nice addition to my spice cabinet. I do wish they came in a jar. I will probably take then out of their plastic container and put them in a pretty jar and label it. They look similar to saffron.

This stuff is awesome. It tastes great and has nice texture. It makes my dishes look fancy and adds smokiness and depth. It's not spicy but doesn't lack flavor. You will be getting a quite a large box and that will last a while...

These were delicious with a extra little spice, color and dimension given to the dish you are serving them with. I used them to top a risotto and shrimp dish I was putting out for 150 guests. Everyone loved them and many people never seen them. I ended up cutting the threads in half because they were adding a little too much spice, but put a pinch on each plate.I was paid for this review. This did not affect my review of the product.

A really handy garnish, sprinkle a little of this plus some diced up cilantro and it makes a wonderful presentation topping

4 oz might not seem like a lot, but when it comes to chile threads it definitely is. Unless you are going to be using a recipe that requires a lot of it, one package is enough. I used it to garnish plates and cocktails. I don't need a lot of it to garnish, so the one bundle will last me a long time.

I expected more flavor was more decorative than anything

Absolutely love these for decorating food and they add a very nice smokey peppery heat. I was somewhat surprised by the amount, 4 oz turns out to be a lot when you're talking about feathery light food products, now I have enough chile threads for the next few years :-) . The threads are nice and long.

Great quality and quantity— enough to share in my Prepper bag and give to chef friends. Mild not hot, gives great visual and flavor to many dishes
