Just so people know, GENERALLY YOU DO NOT NEED AN ADAPTER FOR MODERN DEVICES WHEN TRAVELING TO JAPAN. THEY WILL PLUG IN AND CHARGE JUST FINE WITHOUT. I got the adapters, though, because I bought a Nintendo64 from Japan, and those models are 20 years old. it was recommended to help keep the machine working.It seems to work just fine, so no complaints there. It does tend to fall out of the wall socket, though, like someone else mentioned. So you should probably tape it to the wall. Also the Japanese end was a pretty snug fit. As in, the slots where a bit too far apart for the plug, so I had to kinda force it in there. It seems to be okay, though, and doesn't overheat.

I used this for the Yokohama Hotel I stayed in for my computer. I worked and didn't fall out. I'm limited to that because the place I was actually visiting had three prong plugs so I had no use for these there. Still they worked as advertised for when I needed them.

These are great. Used this for our trip to Japan. It's nice that its in a 3 pack so we each had one of our own to use.

Works as an adapter but falls out of the socket very easily. if whatever you're planning on plugging in is heavy, best find another adapter or a way to ensure it doesn't fall out at an inopportune moment.

These plugs worked just fine. I used them to plug in my three-prong MacBook cord (from the US) into Japanese outlets. No other conversion needed. These adapters worked in Okinawa, Yokohama and Tokyo.

I was concerned when this product arrived since the packaging wasn't sealed and there was no package slip, nothing to identify what it was and was I actually getting the correct product! So I have no idea if these outlets even work as I haven't travelled yet???

Its a travel adapter... Hard to go wrong
