I needed pan balances to teach 3rd graders about mass using gram stackers. This was exactly what they needed to see. The symbols on the bottom tied it to math.I have even used them to show balanced equations.

This is great for homeschool or class fun! You can turn math into a delight! Lots of potential for creating activities, contests, games, etc. I love that there are 4 so you can have several kids or groups working at the same time.

This is a cute balance to play with. It is colorful and easy to assemble. I, unfortunately, wanted them for school use. There is too much play in the hanging position to get the accuracy you need to actually measure things. wish I had tried them right away instead of waiting until I needed them for lessons because I missed the return window. :(Try them first to see if they all work for what y9u want to do with them.
