American Aldes Dryer Vent Box for 2x4 Walls - Up Flow

My purpose for the dryer vent box was to allow my dryer to get closer to the wall. As with all re-work on house projects it requires time and creativeness. For my walls I needed to add a 2X4 (side ways) to make up for the distance between the studs and then (the hard part) cutting the existing vent pipe with little room in the back wall. But the hardest part is configuration of getting the round pipe into the oval hole. I have yet to see a oval pipe in any home I have ever owned. Still mama is happy and so that makes me happy. Give yourself two hours at least.

It was a little difficult to reshape the existing 4" vent pipe through the oval hole in the top of the vent box, but in the end the finished installation met my needs.

The oval opening makes it difficult to get the circular pipe through. Once its done it looks nice.

Arrived as promised and performed as advertised. No issues noted. Would recommend to solve tough dryer installation issues.
