GekoGrip Modular Magnetic Car Mount | Universal Cradle-Less CD Slot Holder - Compatible with iPhone and Android Smartphones and Mini Tablets

I received my new GekoGrip xM3 December 2016 and my happy to say that it fit the CD slot.The CD slot car mount is very easy to install. I have an aftermarket radio so I had to tighten it quite a bit before it felt really snug. However, after having it for less than a year it will not stay in the CD slot of my radio anymore. I can pull the whole GekoGrip out of my radio with no problems and now I'm scared to put my phone on it because it may fall when I'm driving.The only problem I had was that I have a very thick phone case, so the magnet does not feel as strong as it does new it’s just the magnet touching the mount itself. So if you do know have the phone right in the middle of the magnet it will move a little.Over all I’m happy that I got this mount.

This has made using the GPS on my phone so much better. I used to have try and prop my phone up so that it would not lose signal but with this I have no problem. It is very easy to install and stays in place. The metal plates that come with it means I can leave my phone case on while using the magnet.

Very slick design and doesn't look out of place on a modern car dashboard. Made with good quality components and comes with a few options to attach the magnetic plate to your phone. It does a great job holding my iPhone 6SPlus steady even through a leather case.

The reason why I'm giving it two stars is because it does have a strong magnet and looks nice, but it does not stay in my CD player (JVC aftermarket stereo in a 2005 mini cooper). Will be returning

Good mobile holder. Not bulky on the dash board. I would give it 5 stars but over time the it gets a little bit loose and I have to tighten it with the built in screw

Strong magnet, nicely made. 4 stars because it can really only be used in one position. Putting it in upside down for the phone to be lower, isn't as tight in the CD slot. Also, it slides out from time to time. No big deal-it doesn't fall out-just becomes looser. I just push it back in, and its good to go. Overall a very nice product worth the money---

Love... It has given me someplace to put my phone. Now it is accessible instead of sliding off on the car floor.

I purchased this product less than a year ago and it has started falling out of the CD player slot. No matter how much I tighten it, the stand will not stay. I loved it but it should last much longer than it did.
