Ok I know this figurine gets lots of less than stellar reviews but I think everyone needs to take a step back and think about reality. First, this is NOT an ornament which it doesn't ever claim to be in the description. This IS a figurine for going with the Dept 56 Christmas Village themed by the classic Christmas Vacation movie. Second, this is NOT an intricately detailed figure that you spend $100 dollars on to display year round. This is a $20 or so porcelain piece that fits with the quality and detail of all other Dept 56 pieces. By looking at it you know exactly who it is and what scene from the movie this is from, which is exactly what should matter most when displaying this piece. I see a few people indicate the people with this village are bigger than the RV and houses and look silly. I will say they're a tad on the large size, probably to make the details they have on them possible. I would definitely not say they look so big they're ridiculous. They still fit in well with the village. And as someone that has people from other village sets, those other sets have people figurines approximately the same size. So in my opinion, no these are not misfits. I was happy to add cousin Eddie to my display and quite satisfied with his size and appearance. Albino cousin Eddie?
I loved this except that it looks like someone forgot to paint his skin. He looks like he is albino and doesn't have any pink/flesh color at all. The photo does not match what i received in that regard. He looks like he has white leggings on. Haha oh well. Just something to be aware of.
