ULTRA Mini Table Top 1.25L Wet Grinder with Atta Kneader, 110-volt (New Model), white, 1.25-Liter

The media could not be loaded. This Grinder was an addition at my home in 2021 and i found it to be so useful to make a big batch of idli/ dosa batter . It is mini so occupies a little counter space but its so effective that every time i prepare in this i get a big batch of batter that tastes amazing because while grinding unlike the Mixie/ Mixer it doesn’t get heated up and the stones grind the dal/ pulses and rice perfectly . It makes an average noise but definitely not very disturbing . In just 30/40 minutes the batter is done and you just need to check and water twice in between so its not hectic and you can set the timer and leave it by its own . I am glad i made this purchase . Yes it is a bit expensive but for a household that makes batter almost every week this is worth buying.

I would have preferred to spend a bit more on a known brand but the lead times were super long and I had cocoa beans almost done fermenting. This solution is decent. One drawback is that the conical rollers are annoying to work with. I realize it’s a good way to increase interaction area in a small vessel but they get stuff caked on them in annoying ways; have your scraper ready until the machine gets hot enough to melt the fats. Additionally, that the cones allegedly keep the thing from heating up and that’s the exact opposite you want for chocolate. I’m sure they’d heat up eventually, but, unless you want to spend hours adding the cocoa nibs (since they cake onto the rollers, make the machine go off-axis, and can even stop it), use a heat gun or a hair dryer to heat up the side of the vessel while it’s spinning while slowly adding nibs. You’ll see the goop gradually turn liquid as it’s initially ground and heated. A pound of nibs takes maybe 20 minutes. It perhaps goes without saying that the hairdryer should be clean…Anyway, I’m on batch 2 so far and, knowing the quirks, it’s working admirably. There’s a chance it’ll crap out in a couple more batches and that’ll compel me to come back and take a 3 stars away. I have heard that the wiring is subpar but I haven’t had a chance to take it apart and see.

I’ve used this brand for over 23 years! It’s compact and just fits right on my counter top. It’s easy to clean. You get your money’s worth as the product has a long life and it’s worth every dime you pay! Go for it!!

I had been using ULTRA Dura+ model for 6 years and it was very good wet grinder. Since i had to move to different location, I left it there. So I ordered this model irrespective of bad reviews. But the bad reviews are real. It is not at all grinding urad dhaal or rice. If you don't want to waste your time then stay away from this model. WORST WET GRINDER MODEL. Why do Amazon sells these kinda products

This is a great product for dosa batter. Now no more need to buy batter from store, its very fast because of presence of stone it taste very authentic. Must to buy if you love dosa idli uttapa uttapam etc..

I ordered this used and all the parts came with. Grinder needs adequate liquids to get going but once it does works just as intended. Very pleased with this time saving equipment! Does get hot over time so about an hour in, I'll shut it off and wait for it to cool then run it again. But that is expected at this price point, not the best motor.
