Fantastic book
I really enjoy this book. The style and content are both pleasing. I have been working with Ayurveda for a while and this is a great summary to get going from. I’m excited to try some of the recipes and am sure this book will bring me lots of joy wherever i go (on ebook/kindle format). I did have a lot of issue with delivery and with contacting Amazon about this issue, this raised for me the issue of removing easily accessible communications from a sales-platform. One can be left, as i was, feeling like the money had been taken but no product was delivered despite the platforms confirmations to the contrary. Tech can be both a blessing and a curse, but i would urge authors to also be interested in the customers gaining the product they paid for with ease and via a structure where communication is possible with the selling platform. Because i was almost left with requesting refund my only option despite the fact that i very much did want the book! Let’s work together to ensure that a sale platform can not reach the point where it feels able to leave consumers high and dry without customer service access.

Recipes my body adores!
I absolutely love this book! I have ME/CFS, which has included many food related problems over the years but finally, in Ayurveda,I've found a way of eating which my body is comfortable with and even loves. I've tried a few other Ayurvedic cook books but none have inspired me like this one. Also I can feel the vibrancy of the fresh foods giving me more energy so I can cook more and more often; it's a refreshing cycle! I'm not craving carbs/sweet foods inbeteen meals like I was and as the foods travel down my digestive tract they feel silky smooth and light, even the mung bean brownies, which I ordinarily find heavy. So far I've made the Chia pudding, Sweet Potato Chickpea Burger, Spaghetti Squash with Lentil-Walnut Plantballs, Sweet Potato Lentil Shepherd's Pie, Mung Bean Brownies and I'm waiting for my Sahasrara (crown chakra) soup to be ready for my lunch. Each recipe is clearly explained and they work so if they're followed carefully even the most inexperienced of cooks should get perfect results. I've read so many reviews of other cook books where reviewers say the recipes don't work so this is a refreshing change because everything is well thought out, tested and proven.I thoughroughly enjoy perusing the pages in search of my next recipe partly due to the stunning, colourful pages and all of the interesting and useful Ayurvedic advice. I have numerous cookbooks but this is the only one I've been using regularly. I urge anyone reading to buy the book without hesitation. My soup's ready! Enjoy the book.

Beautiful Book
Finally a modern up to date Ayurveda cook book which does not rely heavily on grains/ghee and spices.I loved the fresh approach to this ancient healing system and that the author had taken the basic principles of Ayurveda to create beautiful recipes that work for our modern day lifestyles. I loved that not all the recipes were heavily spiced based, there wasn’t too much overuse of everything “coconut”, lots of lovely vegan recipes and keeping to low carbs meant many of the recipes used gluten free and pseudo grains which is great for those of us who have to follow a gluten free lifestyle. I also liked that many of the recipes did not have a list of ingredients as long as your arm and do not seem to be too labour intensive either. The layout of the book, the beautiful photographs and easy to understand approach to the Ayurveda lifestyle make this the best Ayurveda book/cook book I have purchased to date. If you are looking for tasty, light refreshing recipes and a new approach to Ayurveda then I would definitely recommend this book.

Amazing!!
Amazing!! This book has been the answer to my incredibly long search for finding an eating plan that's right for me. I've been loosely vegan for a few years now mainly due to the ethical and environmental factors associated with animal produce but have not been convinced that it has been the best option for my health.Having tried yoga and meditation to help with the mental struggles I've faced and found that the benefits have been incredible I became interested in the principles of Ayurveda but was disappointed and frustrated by the use of dairy as a main staple within it. This book offers both sensible alternatives and crucially the explanation as to how this food type is utilised by the body in the context of the principles of the Ayuverdic way which once understood is so amazing. Now the only dairy I include in my diet is ghee, I've made swaps in my meal choices to accommodate my dosha and I understand so much more clearly what my body needs to be in balance. I can't recommend this book enough, it is literally the answer to my prayers and has changed my life. I feel more energised, happy and in tune with myself and my spiritual pursuit than ever before. Thank you Sahara Rose 🌹

Not for me
I was really looking forward to receiving this book as I have a strong interest in nutrition and wanted to learn more about ayurveda. However, like some others, I found the explanatory part of the book overly spiritual (for a cookbook) and the practical side lacking. I didn't feel there was enough detail regarding the best foods for each dosha and while I am a wide-ranging eater some of the recipes were too far out for me - savoury porridge, sweet potato 'toast' and red lentils for breakfast are not my thing - while others were very similar to many other books. I only tried one recipe from the book before giving it away, which was the cinnamon crispy bars. I cook a huge amount of different dishes and, against my better judgment, followed this recipe only to be left with a massive quantity of falling apart snacks. Sadly not a keeper.

Delicious! Recipes are not always accurate
The book is very interesting and informative, as well as colorful. I have tried a good amount of the recipes and overall it tastes good. I have noticed that some of her measurements are off. For example, I follow it precisely but noticed some things are not mixed how it should be (ex: maybe too watery). Also, I have not noticed any evidence that Ayurveda works, just that it tastes good. I made a Moroccan recipe, then went to Morocco a month later and it tasted almost nothing like the country, like way, way, way off. But she does mention that this is her own spin on things. So overall I liked the book for taste and fun but not sure how accurate it was.

This book is GOLD
I understood myself much better than I thought I do. I resonated with each and every word of this book. I used to think eating raw vegetables will solve all issues I have with my digestion and overall health. But when I used to follow that diet I used to start looking malnutritioned and loose excess fat. I was just racing against the waves. Never knew what exactly my body needed. Unhealthy eating patterns was a norm.I felt every page speaking to me like “hey, that’s how it is and that’s how you can heal”.Can’t thank enough, Sahara Rose for existing and sharing her ancient wisdom with us. I believe whoever finds this book be transformed into her highest self ✨

Must Have!!!
Un must have poir ceux qui cherchent à se sentir mieux dans leur corps et leur esprit !Superb book where we find the explanation of what Ayurveda is, with the description of the three doshas, what they imply on the body and the mind, as well as easy recipes adapted to the world modern (important point for this thousand-year-old tradition!). The book is very nicely illustrated and above all very clear, including for those who know nothing about Ayurveda !!! A must have for those looking to feel better in their body and mind!
