AccuVent 15'' x 48'' 16'' o.c Flame Retardant PVC Cathedral Ceiling Vent 50 Pack ACBP18425

I'm trying to modify my existing venting situation, which did not include any baffles at all, to add these in. When I got my roof re-done, the roofers tried shoving in the pink styrofoam version between the roof and and insulation. Needless to say, it didn't work. I bought these hoping they would be stiffer and less prone to breaking - they were that, but not enough to be able to slide in easily. So unless you're opening up your roof/ceiling completely to install these properly, I would not recommend for the kind of retrofit situation I'm in.

these are used between insulation and the roof deck on cathedral ceilings. we used these in a remodel on a 1 1/2 story house. they give slightly more room for the insulation and seem more crush resistant. I highly recommend these, along with r21 and furring out ceiling joist with 2x2's. made a phenomenal difference!

Easy install

The item would have been great if it was the item that I had ordered. Instead of getting the extensions, I got the starter strips (ACBP18426). Goes to show that I should have double checked when the box came in. Don't assume that you get what you order!!!
