oh my beautiful goodness!!! my Texas skillet just arrived. wow wow and woweeeeeee! the packaging was well done and upscale. i know it is packaging, but it does make a statement about the craftsmanship of The American Skillet Company. the skillet is so beautiful and well made! the skillet is quality to the max. it is smooth, well balanced, heavy and purely amazing. The American Skillet Company should contact Buc ee's and sell this to them! i cannot wait to use it. i have a HUGE collection of cast iron and so very happy to add this to my collection. it will be a favorite i am sure for this Texas girl. love, love, love it!

I did not buy this product by I have seen it at groceries stores for reasonable prices. The HEB brand may not be "heirloom" but you can save yourself $100.
