Could of been slightly thicker. I wont use this for longer hair but works fine for men's cuts. I posted picture to show that the clasp is exactly how its suppose to be. The other people reviewing it as wrong are not using it correctly. You hook one side to the collar then you can slightly stretch the other and hook it to the collar. The claps do not go together they are made to hook to the collar so you have a snug and comfortable fit no matter what neck size.

I started cutting my parents and sons hair at the start of the pandemic and have gotten pretty good enough to upgrade from a towel to this. Great quality for the price! I went to Sally's Beauty and they wanted a similar cape with no brush for $15.99. Brush is nice and soft but firm enough to remove unwanted hair clippings off the ears, neck, and face. The cape covers the whole body and I actually like how it has an adjustable clasp than the snaps because it fits both my 8 year old and my dad. I would highly recommend.

I just shaved my son's head and he has some sensory issues so this took a while. I bought this to keep hair off of him because hair can be irritating and can make it worse for him. I removed it and he was COVERED with hair. I was perplexed by this and looked closer at the cape and hair is coming through it ..... everywhere. I grabbed a handful of hair and pressed the cape over it and the hair poked through again and again. It was as if I never put a cape on him. He was so upset. The brush actually worked quite well and is very soft so he liked that.As for the clasps, people keep pointing out they are the wrong way but it's way too big if you clasp them together so I clasp around the edge of the neckline (both of them) to make it as tight as I needed. I think people are maybe misunderstanding how that is supposed to hook. If you are using this as a prop and not for hair you should be fine.

The pandemic put me in the position, like many others, of cutting my own hair. Toward that end, I needed a cape that would keep hair from getting into my clothes and had hoped this would fit the bill. It didn't. The fabric holds a lot of static and hair clung to it - and me - achieving the exact opposite of what I had needed. I couldn't shake the hair off the cape and ended up having to rinse it in the shower to get all the hair off... And then cleaning the shower drain. It wasn't fun. Save yourself the money and headache.

I bought this for myself to use as I cut my son/husband’s hair because I don’t like that hair gets stuck to my shirt. I also LOVE how big the brush is. It’s much bigger than the one that came with another kit I purchased before. I love it and so do my boys!Only thing I would add is that the neck closure seems to have one clip upside down which makes it more difficult to clip but not impossible. Just flip one of the hooks upside down prior to connecting. I wish that wasn’t the case but it’s not a deal breaker for me.

Not much more to say than was asked already- YES its easy to use. YES is a good value for the money. YES its lightweight.It has made the home haircuts that I started doing about a year ago due to the pandemic shutdown even easier, since receiving!If you need a cape for cutting hair (it definitely helps with clean up) and the hair "brush"/"duster" (whatever its called) is a GREAT BONUS!!For the price I couldn't have imagined how GREAT this product was!!LOVE IT!!WOULD RECOMMEND!!

Should’ve read the reviews... the clasp on this cape is terrible! Poorly made. Cheap material. The free brush was the selling point, but now I’m wondering how long it will last. I do not recommend.

I literally just received it, opened it, pulled it out of the packaging and this happens . I only bought it for the cape, the brush was a plus. But still, this was disappointing. Haven't tried the cape but I'm sure it can't be worse than this. If the cape turns out fine and the brush doesn't lose anymore bristles, then I might give it more stars .

First impressions is the books are on the wrong way and you will see a few comments on that however , if you look at the fastened photo , I had taken the right hook and placed it onto the neck material behind the left hook and then placed the left hook onto the right hand side of the collar , this then lets you adjust for tightness around your neck. The top of the brush handle fell off when I took it out of the packaging which is why it got 4 stars , but I was able to super glue it back on. Note it just about covers the back of your neck , but it has a long front , it would have been good if it was all the same length. Overall it cost me £7:99 , it’s not the best in the world but it’s ok.

This is brilliant! Wish I had bought it sooner instead of using a towel. No more mess, and the big brush is so soft and does an amazing job. Highly recommend this product and the seller.

The material is good and the print is quite nice. Long at the front and shortish at the back (would have preferred a bit longer here). Brush is okay. On the whole it serves the purpose and is good value for the money (£9.55)

Not good for cutting hair longer that the hairline. All the threads were loose and caught easily. Sent back for a refund. Cheap!

This is a lifesaver when cutting hair! No more hairs down the back. The brush that comes with it is a very nice extra.
