Large French Press Coffee Maker - Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel, Silver, 34floz

Old review is below and pictures removed. Coffee Gator has completely taken care of my damaged unit and is sending a replacement. I suspect Amazon's QA let it slip through the cracks, and not Coffee Gator. I will update this review when I finally make some coffee- but this product deserves 5 stars alone just based on the customer service interactions. They make a quality product and stand by it 100%. ============================================================================================= Possibly got an overstock Item, possibly preused. Mine arrived with many scratches and gouges in the paint, on both the French press and accessory stoage container. The box looked preopened. Design preference wise, the screen makes an unpleasant sound against the inside wall, probably not a functionally bad thing, just sounds bad. Also the paint feels like sandpaper, it feels unpleasant to touch. The pictures make it look smooth. I'm sure it functionally works well, many people here like it, and I bought it based on those reivews, just not the best QC. This could be an issue on Amazon's end and not the manufacturer. Despite the scratches and screen rubbing noise I'd probably keep it if the unit felt good to touch, which it doesn't, feels like sandpaper. They should make the paint similar to the Klean Kanteen bottles, thick and smooth, they could even make it matter finish instead of glossy. I really wanted to like this, but unfortunately I'll be returning this. I'm sure it makes good coffee though.

Ürün kullanım açısından iyi ancak suyun döküldüğü uç kısımın gövdeye yapistigi yerde 1 cm kadar bir bölgede açıklık var, oradan iceriye su kaçiyor, sicak su koyunca o yerden ses ve baloncuklar cikiyor, herhalde bu sebeple olacak ki çift duvar oldugu halde icindeki kahve çok hizli bicimde soğuyor, isiyi disariya veriyor. Videosunu cektim ama goruntü ekleme gibi bir secenek goremedigim icin ekleyemiyorum. Ayrıca yanında gelen küçük cam kavanoz da hem çok küçük hem de çok çabuk kırılacakmış gibi duruyor. Dışına metal kılıf geçirmişler ama uçları cam, metal french press alanların çoğu 'artık kırılmayan, cam olmayan' malzeme istedikleri için metale yöneliyorlar, cam kavanoz yollanması o sebeple komik olmuş.

I have had this french press for more than 2 years. It has lived through daily use, travelling and abuse. Other than having to change the filters for new ones after 2 ½ years, after a deep clean, it still looks and works as if it was brand spanking new (I have the stainless steel version with no paint, I can't attest for the other versions). It's definitely built tough. Being all stainless steel is great too. This means no metallic flavour leaking into the coffee, no potential compounds/materials like plastics, and no rusting. It brews great coffee and keeps it hot for a long time. I definitely recommend it. It's a good buy that will last you a long time.

This is a good product. As much as I appreciate the original glass French press carafes, I wasn’t expecting to like this stainless steel press. It will brew hotter coffee. It will keep the brew hotter than the glass press. It will keep all grounds away from your first and last pour. It is slightly heavier. It is also really pretty. Maybe not MOMA worthy pretty but enough to get attention. Now waiting for a matching green coffee and saucer set.

Love this coffee press. It's easy to clean and easy to use. Once you find the correct amount of coffee to add for your preferred taste it is superb. Keeps your coffee hot for a couple of hours thanks to the double walled construction. It also looks great too. Well worth the money and thoroughly recommended if you are a coffee lover.
