wonderful
Todd Nauck kills it on the art chores. Fun side stories from the Invincible Universe.

Picking up steam
While Robert Kirkman's "Invincible" core book might be losing momentum, this volume of "Invincible Universe" (formerly "Guarding the Globe") finally shows some hope of fulfilling its potential. There is humanity running through the book that connects us emotionally with the characters, but plenty of action and mayhem to keep us entertained as well.

Provider was excellent. The book was crap, but I should have expected that.

So many Guardians
This is the next chapter of Invincible but without Mark. After the events of Invincible 18 this story, or at least most of it, needed to be told. I'm glad Kirkman and Hester didn't gloss over it. There are simply too many Guardians, still. A little more exposition would always help but that's not how Kirkman rolls. Todd Nauck's work is very energetic and could easily fit in the main title. Overall, a good read for a necessary story.

If you like Invincible, you'll like his friends
Very much in the vein of Invincible, both in the writing (Phil Hester) and the art (Todd Nauck), it opens in the aftermath of the Dinosaurus disaster and mixes group action with a couple of effective solo stories featuring characters I'd never heard of and ending with a potentially sinister development. This is a good start to the series and I'm looking forward to more.

Una forma entretenida se explorar un poco más este universo. No es imprescindible.
Para explorar y explotar un poco más el universo Invencible. Lectura entretenida con buen dibujo, sin llegar a ser imprescindible. Ojo, en inglés.

You can't not like (double negation = affirmation) Nauck's artwork
You can't not like (double negation = affirmation) Nauck's artwork prior to even reading the storyline. Solely based on the artwork, this one gets a 4 star from me.
