American Flag Hood Cover (Car Flag) (Standard)

Great around the 4th of July. Everyone loves it and asks where I got it. Fits pretty loose on small hoods but that's nothing a few small bunjee cords couldn't fix.

I bought this for my son. He is a proud American, and loves to drive down the highway showing this pride. He gets saluted by officer, military, and civilians alike. He said, it is the best gift he was ever given.

Use of an American Flag Hood Cover is a violation of US federal law governing use of the Flag by civilians. Members of the military and other US agencies may be subject to other rules, but are probably the same. Title 4 of the US Code Chapter 1 Sections 7 and 8 prohibit the Flag from being draped over the hood of a vehicle, carried horizontally and touching anything beneath it, so using this product in the manner shown violates those 3 rules. The exact wording below was taken from the official US House of Representatives web site for the US Code.4 USC Ch. 1: THE FLAG§7. Position and manner of display(b) The flag should not be draped over the hood, top, sides, or back of a vehicle or of a railroad train or a boat. When the flag is displayed on a motorcar, the staff shall be fixed firmly to the chassis or clamped to the right fender.§8. Respect for flag(b) The flag should never touch anything beneath it, such as the ground, the floor, water, or merchandise.(c) The flag should never be carried flat or horizontally, but always aloft and free.
