You've GOT to try these!! Nighttime badminton is SO FUN!! My wife is addicted, the kids all love it and it's great exercise. I knocked off a star because sometimes when these are hit, the switch gets knock to the OFF position. It's really no bid deal. We just pick it up and switch it back on. HINT: purchase a solar LED light string (I got mine from Harbor Freight) and string it up along the top of your net. We're also using glow sticks to mark the boundaries.

This is driving me crazy. This product does NOT have a "slide to the side" switch as shown in the picture. It has the miserable push button, which is useless because the light turns off every other hit. I have now purchased these from apparently 5 different companies, they are obviously all the same supplier. They all come in the same damn, green and white box that says "Happy Every Day". This same product is sold under many, many different company names. I WANT A SLIDE SWITCH! ... not a bait and switch.

Soo much fun playing night badminton with family and friends this summer with these! Awesome for the sun going down to not halt our play, but just bring our game to a new level. The green light was our favorite, found it the easiest to see.

The LED is silly and completely unnecessary, but in no way interferes with the great quality of these shuttlecocks. Silly name for a silly piece of equipment don't you agree? The quality and performance blow away the cheep plastic shuttlecocks that come with most low priced kits.

Perfect for playing badminton at a dark night and very amusing to look at when flying over the net.

If you are a fan of badminton and like to play at dusk or in the dark, these are a blast! But even without the lights, these are a very resilient and professional grade birdie for your badminton game.I was first very surprised at the quality of material on this shuttlecock. Usually, we get the birdies with the rubber tips that often go flying off if hit too hard. The tip on this one is attached and comprised more of cork and rubber, but really resilient. We usually play what we call "extreme" badminton which usually has the rubber tip flying off within ten minutes or have the plastic wind-resistant part tearing apart. This one is firmly attached and withstood the hits.It also has actual high-quality feathers as the wind resistant part of it. I thought these things would be very fragile and break easily but they did not, and believe me, they were tested. My yorkie is a seasoned shuttlecock fetcher and she is not gentle, but even when grabbing it in her mouth and running away with it, it did not break once.The light is very easy to turn on. It has a small button on the inside that you can click on or click off. This is great for when you are playing during the day but then just need that extra light or effect in the evening. There's solid colors and then the rainbow one which changes colors and flashes. It looks great when being hit and soaring through the air!This is a terrific, high-quality birdie. I got this item at a discount in exchange for my unbiased review and I would gladly buy this product again!

When I was a kid, badminton games had to end when the sun when down because it was too dark to see the birdie.And now, I can play badminton whenever I want because I have LED birdies.Four of them came in the box. The feathers and cork (the rubber part) are white, and the cork is circled by a black band.The turn on the birdie there is a button on the inside of the birdie. When you push it, it lights up all sorts of different colors. It flashes, and glows. And is exceptionally bright for being only 1 LED.I rated this as 4-Stars because it doesn't appear the the battery is easily replaceable. I'm only going to have 1 "active birdie" as a result. These are adorable! Not only that, but they work better than the standard plastic ones! We bought my daughter a portable net for her birthday. It came with some cheap plastic shuttle cocks. They were hard to hit and didn't go far enough to make it over the net. We were saving these for a night game, but we decided to given them a try. They are made with feathers - and they worked like a charm! Seriously - they were easy to hit and worked consistently better than the ones that came with the set. I really didn't think there would be a quality difference, to tell you the truth. We just thought it would be fun to have some light up birdies - as a novelty - for some summer fun. I received a discount on this product in exchange for my honest review and I'm impressed!
