I had purchased one brushroll and it broke a few months later. I discovered however that the reason the original Shark roll and the first replacement broke was because human and animal hair had wrapped around the end of the roller. It interfered with the spinning buildup and the roller eventually broke from the friction. So now I clean out the hair every time I vacuum and there has been no problems since.

It was easy to install.

Made our sweeper work like new again! Definitely recommend.

Fits, cheap easy fix

The beater bar seem to be picking up the carpeting matted down in the suction holes is not leaking, and the filters are working very well also

So the Shark Vacuum still had a lot of power but the roller bristles wore completely gone on our roller. We just needed a new roller. Couldn't find one on the shark website but found it here on Amazon. To get to the roller the screws on my model were star Allen wrench which a very small flat head worked on. Hint if it's not coming apart pretty easy then there is another screw, you must find it. Directly in the middle on the underside there was a very deep one with dust and debris covering it. It was easy once we got it apart yo install the roller. Love my Vacuum now because it's like New!
