Great pencil
I use this pencil to highlight and write notes in my Bible. It doesn't bleed through the thin paper and works well for underlining, writing notes, and even coloring in boxes. I will use this for years and would buy it again if one day I wear it out.

meant to be an art pencil.
Hey! Artist here! this is a GREAT pencil for underlying sketches. The lead draws on light and is easy to erase. I got red to start out with and try and I LOVED IT. it’s the first pencil I actually used all the lead that was given me I liked using it that much. If you are looking for a pigmented erasable pencil this probably isn’t what you’re looking for, it comes out very soft and light even if you try to build on it, a positive and negative depending on what you’re looking for. long story short, I’m OBSESSED. I haven’t been this impressed with an art pencil in years.

Scripture Marking
The red color is traditional in marking scriptures as I read for me. The refills go in smoothly and the line is easy to see.

Super Useful and Amazing
The color shows up almost has a dark pink, but still can be seen as red. The led breaks slightly to easily but still is super useful. I use it for notes, drawings, coloring, etc and it is really versatile. The pencil itself is super light weight and very durible. Its super easy to use and doesnt hurt to much to use for long periods. ISSUE: Only issues ive found is that its hard to erase. Its almost like erasing crayons.

Smooth to write with, and bold thin red line
I really like this mechanical pencil with the red lead. It has made note taking much easier for me. It is smooth, bold, but not so bold that you can see it on the next page. Lead lasts a pretty long time too. I will certainly buy this again, and will begin to search if more colors are offered.

The color erases completely, for multiple rewrites
This pencil is very comfortable in my hand. That’s important for correcting multiple documents.

But the erasable colored pencils I was using were starting to annoy me as I felt like I was constantly sharpening ...
I'm an artist so I'm always looking for supplies that work for me. Recently I've taken to drawing in blue and red. I do a lot of portraiture work in watercolor and find that red pencil gives a lovely effect. But the erasable colored pencils I was using were starting to annoy me as I felt like I was constantly sharpening (something I don't have to do as much if I'm using an HB pencil). So after some research I decided a mechanical pencil might be the way to go and chose these. Now I'm not new to mechanical pencils, I've been using them to write with since I was in middle school, but these have proven troublesome. My biggest gripe is with the lead itself I'm constantly breaking it. Not breaking off the tip but further up the shaft inside the pencil itself so that 1/2 inch pieces end up falling out of the pencil and getting waisted. I suspect that the led is just too soft and will break inside the holder at the point where the part that advances the lead ends. I've had colored led before (way back in high school whenIt was cool) and I don't recall them being as prone to breaking. My second gripe is that these are even more water-soluble than what I was using before. It's to be expected that erasable colored pencils will be water-soluble to some degree but these are ridiculous and perform like my watercolor pencils! If that was the look I was going for then I'd be using them instead. This results in me having to either draw very, very lightly (which sorta defeats the purpose of using the red or blue pencils) or lightly erasing the drawing with a kneaded eraser before I start adding watercolor washes. The lead holder, or pencil, itself works fine and I'll likely look for red and blue .7mm lead from another manufacture to refill these with once I run through all of the refill.I would not recommend these pencils for art unless you're a digital artist who does the initial drawings by hand in blue or red, Hand inking and then fully erasing, or if you're light handed and using these with dry media.

Great erasable colored pencil!
I especially love this pencil for sketching underneath watercolor! It’s also a plus that it’s erasable too, because everybody makes mistakes. Ever since purchasing it has been the first pencil I reach for when sketching
