Sound is soft and that’s what I was looking for.

This was the smallest chime I could find that was rated for outside use. I haven’t put it out yet, it’s still winter here. But, I expect to get it outside in the next few weeks.My one complaint is that the stings that connect the chimes to the wooden spreader and the hanging hardware are not the same length, which makes the wooden spreaders very crooked. I’ll have to spend some time correcting that before it goes outside.I’ll return here with an update if I have any serious troubles with that task.

The media could not be loaded.  I live in Southern California and we barely ever have strong breezes, so I was a little hesitant to buy chimes. To my surprise, they do work very well. I think it depends on location that you hang it more than anything else. I attached mine to one of the ribs of my patio umbrella, so even the slightest movement will most of the time create some chime sounds. The sounds are nice and mellow. We recently had a rare day of 14mph winds, so I had to take a video because it sounded so nice. I ended up buying two.

I very much like the sound of this wind chime. It has a nice soft sound. I highly recommend

Perfect size for an apt. patio. Loud enough to be pretty, but won't disturb neighbors.
