These sponges are excellent quality and can be used for so much! I currently use these for makeup removal, my period (menstrual cycle), sex (adds cushion for a low cervix) and makeup application. but all in all, these are amazingly great quality and recommend them without reservation. The biggest impact has been for my periods and sex of course. Cramps...gone, super absorbent and also clean! Sex is amazing again, with the extra cushioning no more "ouch!!!"and my skin looks flawless. A few tips:1. always always clean these thoroughly before use. They are from the sea floor, and even if the manufacturer does a prelim clean, always do your own and get mini scissors because there will be sand, grit, shoot, one time I pulled out a seaweed haha. I normally soak mine in warm water for 10 minutes, Squeeze to check for bones, then hold them to the light and snip the debris away. After that, I rinse again, then soak them in water mixed with hydrogen peroxide for another 10 minutes. Rinse, then soak in 1tbs baking soda for 10 minutes, rinse, one more check under the light, then dry. Easy peasy and super clean! :)2. If using for menstrual or cervix, WET THEM FIRST, then twist them into a tampon like shape and pop them in. They will conform to your shape and won't even feel a thing :) And don't be afraid to trim them as well if needed3. Before makeup application WET THEM FIRSTSo there you go. Great quality, multiple uses, no cramps anymore and great sex, add in wonderful looking makeup application, these gems are worth their weight in gold! :) Just clean them first

I was so thankful to finally be able to find real sea sponges for facial cleansing and makeup application. It's been a long time since natural sea sponges have been available in the stores I shop in. There were several sponges included, and they should last a long time. I love the quality. You can't beat them for cleansing and makeup application. They even help treat my facial eczema, although the company makes no claims for this; it's just been my personal experience, and I'm thankful for that. These sponges were a good price, and they arrived quickly.

Excellent quality; this is the only seller on Amazon that actually sends you authentic silk sea sponges- every other seller I ordered from sent synthetic sponges. I've ordered these several times now and I'm always happy with what they send. These are real, and they're the softer, silk style advertised. They come in a fabric bag, and there's a large assortment of sizes. You can cut the larger ones down if necessary. There's also quite a few in the bag, so a good price for how many you get.

Hard to find natural sea sponges to apply makeup. Not all in this assortment is usable for makeup application but enough is to get your monies worth. Use the remainder for art work!

These sponges are awesome!!! I use them for bathing and for putting on body paint for Halloween. Let me tell you they work so good for both these things. highly recommend instead of a loofah

I appreciate the effort the seller takes in describing the renewable status of the natural sponges. Quality is excellent and the size is great for make-up application to painting effects in artwork. You can also trim with scissors if you need a smaller size. Comes in a cute mesh bag with a little gift to promote that small business individualized attention to detail. Will buy again!

Lovely sponges, all so tiny though, it is probably for washing baby sloths, not sure what to do with them. I use the largest one from the pack for washing dishes as an alternative to plastic. I use one of the tiny ones for face exfoliating. They are good quality it is juts that they are so tiny...so I basically have a large bag of tiny sponges to go through over the next 2 years :-) I'll probably try to wash dishes with the small ones too...my husband my kill me when it's his turn to wash the dishes though.

These are great sponges. I actually use them as menstrual sponges. Most of them are very soft, I think I had two of them that I wouldn’t call necessarily soft enough to use for the specific purpose of menstrual sponges. They do have small pieces of sea junk inside them, so I definitely suggest you go through them, when wet, even if you THINK you don’t see anything, and get the excess extras out. I used tweezers to pull anything like bits of shells etc out and it worked fine... there honestly wasn’t that much stuff left inside them, but enough where it’s worth going through. I then used boiling hot water and some tea tree oil and disinfected them to my standards before use. It worked fine and I’ve had no infections or issues from using them for menstrual purposes. There were quite a few good sized sponges as well as plenty of smaller sponges. So, a good variety of both enough for me to be pleased with them. I highly recommend them!
