This thermometer couldn't have arrived at a better time. My two year old was feeling hot to the touch and the only thermometer I had, had to be placed under her tough. Anyone with a small child knows that isn't going to happen. This one came that same day and I was able to use it under her arm instead of under her tongue. The reading was very quick and I tested it multiple times and got the same result. When I took her to the doctor the also got the same temperature so I would say that this is extremely accurate. Turned out to be strep throat by the way, poor baby. I like that the whole tip is bendable which makes it so much easier to place is to get an accurate reading. It also comes with a steardy plastic case. It beeps when it's done which was a huge plus for me as not all thermometers beep and I always wonder if it's done. The only con would be that it doesn't have a back light. Over all, I highly recommend this thermometer.I was given this thermometer at a discount for my honest and Unbiased opinion.

I have had terrible luck with thermometers, and it always seem like when i really need one, i cant find one that works! I have only had this thermometer for a week, but I have used it twice since then. The first time i was just playing around with it to see how well it works, and the second time i was using it on my son (he was fine!) It is one of the best ones I have ever used before. And when your kids are always sick like mine are, a thermometer is a godsend! Its easy to use, its super fast and and it has a large LED screen to read the temperature. It can be used orally, rectally, and in the armpit. It has a flexible and sensitive tip for comfortable use. It can also be used on babies, kids, adults, and seniors. You can choose Fahrenheit or Celsius, which ever you prefer. The package comes with the green and white thermometer, instructions, and a clear plastic case. It is lightweight and easy to travel with. It can also be used to take your basal body temperature (BBT), for ovulation tracking. The battery has an awesome 200+ hours of continuous use. Update: the battery died within a month of daily use. I needed to buy another thermometer.I'm using this thermometer to track my bbt. It works just fine. I wish it had a back-lit screen so I didn't have to turn my lamp on to read it.

With this device being FDA approved, I was hoping that there would be better accuracy and precision. I've had this device for about a year and test taking my temperature again today with 5 different readings with 2 mins in between each and I've received [95.6, 96.1, 96.6, 96.9, 97.1] in F. This temperature was taken during the evening where the body is most active and with a consistent 98.7 from the doctor's office, I would think these temperatures would be too low. The thermometer was kept in the bedroom at a consistent 72 degrees F room temperature so I wouldn't think it would be subject to cold. Unfortunately, I do not have another device to compare against but this variation along with the inaccuracy is just a bit disappointing. However, my fiance does use it every morning to track her temperature and it has done a good job tracing the temperature variations (to predict ovulation cycles) given that she keeps all the variables the same - the temperatures are always very low (between 95 and 97), so she's really only looking for an unusually large jump. What I would like to see from this product is more resilience against daily variance such as extreme movements and outside temperature fluctuations.

I got one the and the buzzer did not work. I had a return in process and decided to email the company. I believe it was the owner that said she would send me one direct. That was ok with me, so I mentioned to make sure it buzzed. That was not checked, instead I was sent two new units. All fine and well except neither made a buzzing sound. I presume by sending two it was assumed that one would work. That's playing the odds so to speak rather than testing the unit. So I have two more units plus the original and none of them function as stated in the directions. I don't expect nor want anymore units and will probably send back the original. I gave it three stars since it appears to be fairly accurate.

Very nice thermometer, including the fact that the is clear plastic, form fitting storage case - I love the storage case. Other nice features include that when you turn it on, it displays the last temperature, then switches to 98.6, and then switches to take new temperature. The only feature that I miss that is offered on some other brands is a lighted LED screen so that the temperature can be read in a dark room.
