Bought this back at the end February and set them it the sun for a couple hours to charge the charcoal. I put one in every room including the bathroom and laundry room, linen closet, 2 in the living room and one in the refrigerator. I have 3 dogs, a cat, plus two kids and a husband. Smells abound. Trust when I say these air purifier bags work because my house doesn't smell much anymore. The only time is smells now is when the dogs come in from the rain - wet dog smell is legit - but it doesn't last long. My mom's best friend uses them in her closets and bedrooms, so I figured I'd give them a try.4 months later and they're still working. In fact, I'm gathering them up now to recharge in the sun on my windowsills for an hour or two. I make sure to do it the beginning of every month or the end, whichever is sunnier.

My daughter uses these in her house and her house always smells so fresh and clean. I finally bit the bullet and bought some for myself. I first put one in each of our cars because we have a hound dog and hound dogs stink no matter what you do, they just stink, and also put them around the house too. After I unpacked the charcoal bags I put the first one in my storage closet. After I closed the closet door for five min. I noticed a big part of the odor there was already improving. A few days later this closet had no odor at all.
