I'm extremely happy. I've been looking for Japanese knifes for a while and caught this one on sale. It's beautiful crafted, a good weight, and extremely sharp. I required little to no effort to thinly slice through fresh crispy peppers with ease.

Love this knife, had it for a few years and still sharp. Best part of cooking is using this knife.

A little light in the handle,grip a little smooth for anything but veg work , razor sharp so that's a plus,good for fine and delicate shredding and chopping meat over an inch thick and you may remove a thumb due to polished handle, , presentation and a blade guard in box a plus...

I enjoy cooking with nakiri knives and this one surprised me. It feels really comfortable to use and no fatigue with lenghty use. It comes sharp and it has been able to cut everything from veggies to meat that I've tried with. I like that it comes with a protective plastic sheath to keep its edge and protect it from banging with other knives or cutting something. I recommend this knife to anyone who is seeking one.

Surprised how well this works, I have a few very expensive and good Japanese chefs knives and the quality and hardnees of the edge is comparable. The cleaver seems well made and nicely balanced. It’s very nice to see that Amazon is now supplying quality Chefs knives at reasonable prices.

I am pleased with the knife. Performing very good. Sure I have very good quality knife for chopping veggies and fruits. The only thing I put 4 stars because it missing marking on a blade. The pictures showed different. Knife looking a bit plane. Dissapointmet
