My daughter kept getting small bites when playing outside. I tried out this lotion and it worked really well. She immediately stopped getting bit and within a week her skin cleared up.

When I ordered this bug repellent lotion I was a little apprehensive about its effectiveness, but I like the other products Maywood Creek makes so I decided to try it out. I like the fact that it is made with organic ingredients and that there is no DEET, as well as the fact that it is lotion. I thought it would be perfect to use on my kids.My 6 year old has insanely sweet blood and is attacked every summer by hordes of mosquitoes. We are always outside so I feel for the poor girl when she comes in only to find that her calves and ankles have been viciously chewed upon by those little suckers (haha, get it?). So with that said I have been using it on my kids for the past three days and I am quite impressed with how well it works. She hasn’t been bitten once and she’s happy about that, which makes me happy.The only thing that I think folks should be warned about is the smell. I hope you like smelling like a citronella candle, but I believe that’s a small price to pay for the ability to walk around in the evening during the summer and not have your precious life forced sucked out of your body against your will.I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

We just moved to Florida, and the bugs are ecstatic to find fresh meat. The first week I was here, I was covered in bites. I thought I would give this a try, and so far it seems to be working. But the pump doesn't work. After many attempts at priming it, I got one small squirt of product, and then it gave up. The lotion is extremely thick, which may be the problem, or maybe I just got a defective pump. But if it's important to you to be able to easily apply it without removing the pump, you might want to try a different version of the product.

Good product,not greasy and smells good. But the pump does not work at all.Maybe my pump was defective not sure.
