The size

I had bought a couple of Sonnets over the last few years, but the pens themselves seems to become worst ergonomics wise with the new models.I recently lost my Lacquer Blue Sonnet that I bought in 2017 and were looking to replace it. Convently there was a sale on Parker Sonnets, so I decided I buy three of them to test it out - Black Lacquer with Gold/Pd trimmed and my original Blue with Pd trim.-Blue with Pd: Looks fantastic, smooth and mechanisms. Would the my favourite until I realised that the Pen's body was not finished with Lacque, instead it was brushed metal. This made it very difficult to hold and I'm contemplating returning the pen.-Black with Gold: Lovely pen, feels great and doesn't slip like the Blue. However, the Gold trim on the Black Lacquer made the pen looks a bit tacky and weird. Overall good pen but depends on the person's preferences.Black with Pd: Same as the Black with Gold, but instead of the tacky combination. I quite like the silvery-metallic look with the black lacquer.UPDATE:I recently bought the Chiselled Silver with gold trim for a special occasion. Immediately I noticed that there were scratches at the back of the pen: just above the trim (picture attached). It’s difficult to see in the picture, but there were about 4 “squares” which appeared to be scratched. Amazon was contacted, and to their credit, sent a replacement swiftly. However, it appeared that this is a recurring issue with this style of pen, as both of the pens have the same defect. I enjoyed the texture that’s on the pen, but the defects are getting on my nerves: ~£100 pens should be containing defects.

Devo dire che la penna è molto bella e scrive bene. Ho letto, però, in alcune recensioni di altri acquirenti che essi lamentano l'assenza del Certificato di Autenticità e del Certificato di Garanzia. L'acquisto ha rappresentato un regalo e, francamente, l'assenza, avvenuta anche nel mio caso, della documentazione suddetta mi ha lasciato un pò perplesso. C'era "soltanto" la scatolina contenente la penna. Nient'altro.Gradirei sapere da chi è più informato di me se quanto sopra rappresenta una politica della Parker.Soprattutto chiedo ad Amazon di fornire gentilmente spiegazioni in merito visto che l'acquisto è stato venduto e spedito direttamente da Amazon stesso e non da venditori terzi.Caro Amazon, gradirei un cortese CELERE cenno di risposta, affinchè possa eventualmente decidere di procedere al reso in caso dovessero permanere perplessità in merito.

I like penning first drafts on paper and Parker ballpoints can be refilled with Parker royal blue gel ink, which is almost like writing with a fountain pen, and doesn't dry up like a rollerball. The black Sonnet is an elegant substitute for my messy Duofold fountain pen. I like the Sonnet so much I bought two more, a blue one to match my blue Filofax, and a red one ro match my red Paperblanks notebook, because I like to think elegant tools beget elegant writing.

I purchased this pen for my grandsons 18th birthday . Considering the price I thought It would ,at least have a written guarantee enclosed. The box looks cheap and tatty . Don't know how well the pen will perform as his birthday isn't until late December.

Bought this as a gift for someone leaving the company. The box it comes it is very nice and sharp. Pen in itself has a nice weight to it. Overall very pleased with this purchase
