fits my induro bh3 head ok
I have an induro bh3 hball ead. The original arca clamp has no level bubble, so I was looking for a way to replace the arca clamp with one having a bubble level or adding a bubble level. Adding a level to the plate (even a removable one) did not work for me. The ball head has two inline upward protrusions across the screw hole that fit the original arca clamp. These do not fit into the sunfoto plate, but they do fit into the Map-01 adapter that came with the plate (larger female grooves on one side, smaller male protrusions on side that fit clamp), so it basically is a way to reduce the size of the male protrusions). The groove in the plate adapter bottom is a little wider than the induro ballhead lugs, so there is some wiggle, but once the screw is tightened it seems fine. If needed one could add some shimming I think, but I do not think it will be needed. So not an absolute perfect solution, but it works and was the only way I could do it. I have bought a few sunfoto items i the lastyfew days, they seem well made. Time will tell how they last. This same adapter is listed for their Mac 15T adapter so I would think it would work as well. I do not know about the desmond adapter mentioned elsewhere, it could be better or worse fit. Too big can work, too small will not.

Replaced RC2 clamp on my Manfrotto ball head
I like this head because it works with all of my existing RC2 plates and also with by Peak Design hand strap plate which is Arca. I always liked the RC2 because it is reliable, but recently, I noticed that the plate can be loose unless you manually tighten the lever. The Arca plate is more deliberate since this one is screw tightened. It's not as fast as the RC2 plate, but I don't think the Arca plate will loosen. Despite the fact that Arca Swiss is not involved in this product other than to have originated the design, I like that Arca was ( and probably still is ) into view cameras.

Not comparable with Manfrotto plate
This product does NOT work with a Manfrotto quick release camera plate (200PL)After speaking with a representative @ Sunwayphoto, i was informed that there is a "slot/groove" on the fixed part of the clamp and it does indeed work with the Manfrotto (200PL) plate.Sorry for the misinformation.

Does the job
Not quite the same level of quality as my other ProMedaGear ArcaSwiss-to-Manfrotto head clamp, which admittedly is more expensive. My biggest nit with this QR clamp is the poor fit of the adapter tabs to engage the anti-twist notches in the Manfrotto head. They're too long and push the rest of the base upward and prevent an all-around flush fit. Nonetheless, it still seems sturdy enough. This is a backup tripod, so I'm not too overly concerned about it.
