I used a slightly larger, same brand planner like this over 10 years, getting a new calendar section each year. It was falling apart but I couldn't find another like it. I kept the same telephone booklet inside for 10 years. I'll finally redo the tel #s in this new book. I looked everywhere to find a new one just like it, then I found it right here at home on Amazon. The calendar has 1 1/2 x 2 inch lined area for each day, best for personal rather than business. The telephone book inside is separate, a small note pad, and slot in front for cards or small items. The calendar it comes with needs to have months and dates filled in, so I ordered another one separately that has dates preprinted. I'll keep the undated calendar booklet in case needed later. The planner fits in a medium size purse. I could put all this info on my cell phone, but I prefer to have it this way.

In return for dating the pages oneself, you get well more than a years worth of pages, a good cover, a place to put a few cards. Been using this model for years, getting another every couple of years. Only downside is no similar refill. At-a-Glance markets it as a starter, so they must want customers to buy their dated refills. Presumably for that reason, they (currently) charge $43 retail for the starter at their site. Thankfully, cheaper here.

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that I so wish this came with a monthly calendar insteadof weekly. This is just a personal preference. It is very hard to find a refill for this size and even when youdo the cost is really out of line. The address book has a good amount of pages and I like that it has a place to hold a pen.I find that a very fine/ fine pen is best because of the size of this planner everything is a bit small. All in all I am pleased.

I really wanted to start being organized, so I bought this. It worked for a few months, but it just got difficult to have it on my body all the time. It's super effective for it's purpose though, and I would recommend it for others as long as they're more responsible than I am with it.

This was just what I was looking for to replace a 20 year old DayRunner! Again, Amazon has a hard to find item.

It's a bit pricey; but you pay for quality!!Considering that I do NOT have a cell phone for many reasons; I need this daily planner and I use them considerably, and I will until the day I die.Thank you for continuing to produce them!!
