This is exactly what I was looking for in an oversized, deep skillet and lid. It’s non-stick, so very easy to clean. The heat is dispersed almost all the way out to the edges of the pan, even though it’s much larger than the eye. I chose the aqua color, and it’s pretty enough to leave out on the range even when not in use. The lid fits well and is easy to manage. My favorite element is the helper handle. I will never take those for granted again. This is my second replacement for a long used skillet. The first one didn’t have a helper handle. It really is necessary for me, especially in a pan this big. One of the ways I use an extra large, deep skillet is as a “one pot” cooker for pasta dishes. I can boil pasta, pour it into a strainer, make the sauce, then put the pasta back in. Trying to pour the pasta into a colander without a helper handle ended up with water everywhere and pasta wasted into the sink. This skillet fits all of my needs.

This fry pan with lid has a size that works for skillet meals, breakfast bacon and eggs, and light frying. For deep fat frying go with cast iron, this pan won’t do well on high heat. Using medium heat it seems to hold up well. I also got the blue color which goes with my farm kitchen. Very happy with it.

Always been a fan of Farberware, and this is the first time I've had their product in color. I chose Aqua to go with everything in my kitchen, and perhaps understandably, but unexpectedly, the beautiful Aqua finish turned dark olive green after using the pans. Great product, (and I use them extensively) and have had none of the negative experiences' others seem to have. I would only say that you should use only wood or silicone utensils (my preference) to preserve and protect the cooking surface. Although it states dishwasher safe, I am not a fan of the dishwasher, so can't make any observations there. Nonmetal scrub pads work well.

Great quality and great value extra large size

Very nice pan. Good and heavy. Heat distribution is good. Handle on glass top is too small. Can get burned when lifting to check food cooking. Poor balance with glass top.

I dont normally get excited by kitchenware. However, my first few times using this pan my son looked at me like I was crazy because I was so happy & excited. lol This pan makes my life so much easier. It is really large, much bigger than the one I replaced so I was a little surprised. But its large & deep enough that I can fry chicken in it without anything sticking to the pan or getting grease all over the place. Also because of the size, I can make casseroles & other items that I would normally need a large pot for. The non stick surface works so well so clean up is really easy & convenient as well. No more scrubbing for 30 min to get it clean. I have had it for about 3 months now & I still love it just as much as when it first came & I use it all the time. Would highly recommend it.

Color, finish and perfect for family meals!

This is a great heavy duty, 6 qt pan with large surface area and convenient extra handle. The lid fits perfectly. I was quite impressed with the care that was taken with the packaging of this product to avoid damage in shipping.
